After just returning from 6 nights (2 Adults & 1 x 4yr old boy), we would highly recommend castaway to any family. This place is absolutely amazing. We stayed in beach bure #37 on the south beach which was way beyond our expectations. Un-interrupted sea views, beautiful sunsets & surrounded by coconut trees. A lot of people here tend to...

From the moment we could see this beautiful island in the distance to when it was time to leave, we could not fault Castaway Island Resort. I'll start with how beautiful the island is. The water is so clear and beautiful, you can see tropical fish swimming while standing on the sand. As a group we took thousands of photos...

My husband and two boys (4 and 6) spent 5 nights on Castaway Island in March 2013. I have pondered my feelings about this stay for some time before writing a review to ensure I was not being unfair but overall I would have to say I was a little disappointed with Castaway. One arrival we were greeted by a...

Lovely and caring staff who absolutely love kids. Yummy and good variety of food. Management even throws a cocktail party and welcomes everyone. One downfall was the paper based receipt system they have but we were advanced that they are looking at a electronic system. Really well organised dive activities. No TV in rooms but we honestly didn't miss it.

This was my first trip to Castaway, I went with my 3 year old daughter and a friend with her child. I previously went to Plantation Island The pluses - great main beach, surprisingly good snorkelling and fun to kayak around the island. very good a la carte and fusion food (even when compared to Sheraton) Good selection of venues...

This was our fourth trip to Castaway. It is a great resort, very well maintained, good food and the beach and snorkelling are great. Since we started going it has become more popular and this was the first time that the resort felt busy, with the kids pool often being crowded. The staff also didn't seem as carefree and happy...

We spent an all too short 8 days at this fantastic resort. We got married here, anyone looking for a stress free, non Bridezilla wedding venue, look no further. Everything was arranged by email, Laisa was fantastic and made it easy. So easy in fact, that we were still at the pool, cocktail in hand just over an hour before...

Loved every minute. Food excellent. Sadly the other (outdoor) restaurant couldn't open whilst we were there due to weather but it was great food nonetheless. Definitely get the food package as it is great value. Bure was beautiful and perfect for a family of four (No 17). Service was great. Internet in restaurants was free and not too slow. Entertainment...

Just returned from our first visit here. This is a great (albeit very expensive!) place for families with children aged say 4 to 12. Beautiful beach, nice facilities, never a shortage of kayaks etc, good snorkelling. The staff were in the main very nice - notable exception being the grumpy man who plays the 12 string guitar. We thought the...

If you wish for peace and quiet and to live on a desert island, go no further. The resort is well managed and very friendly and helpful staff. The sea is the warmest we have ever experiencd and good for snorkelling. The food was of a good standard and you must try the pig cooked in leaves under the ground...
