We stayed in Ratu Kini in August and found it to be everything you could ask for from a true Fiji island experience. It didnt have the fine polish of other islands or other resorts but it was clean, friendly and the sense of relaxed calm was contagious. Gus was a fantastic greeter/fire juggler/coconut chopper and singer. The food was... More

I stayed in Ratu Kinis Dive Resort for 4 nights. The welcoming was very friendly with music! The dive staff was very friendly and understanding and professional!!! The mixed Dorm was big enough, but my bed was, even for me (160cm), to little! The showers were a bit too dirty and old and there is only cold water! Water: it... More

This is very typical of backpackers that want everything for free and full of complains up to the hilt. For that they use this great review to rubbish resorts that do a lot of work to accommodate a dorm bed guest. This guest (girl from Mana Lagoon) was obviously hungry due to lack of quality of breakfast she was offered... More

Unfortunately I did not stay in this resort as a guest, but my kids, and a lot of their friends did. And they had the best time for a fraction of the cost compared to the place next door. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff organised a night out on a sandbank, which normally only takes about 10, we had... More

The dorm room is beyond basic, there was only 3 people plus us staying on this whole half of the island which was very quiet, room was okay but I think there were bed bugs in some of the mattresses, not in mine thankfully. There was also a rat in the room and climbed up my friend sheet while she... More

We had an amazing time at this Backpackers. We stayed here for 3 nights in a large group, and I cannot recommend this Backpackers highly enough. A very big thank you to John (Bartender) and Guss (A man of many talents). 1) The meals at the restaurant were all fantastic. I was surprised by every single meal that I had.... More

Spent 4 wonderful days here diving and relaxing. We stayed in a beachfront cabin, which was clean and nice. Staff was superfriendly, including the diving instructors. The location is amazing! Accept that things can take some time and doesn't always turn out as you expect, relax and enjoy while waiting. We loved being here!!

The Staff were amazing! Layla, Nathan and Gus made our 2 night stay very memorable. I would highly recommend going fishing and get to cloud 9 bar while you stay here. Beachfront bures are clean and tidy. Everybody gets a warm fijian welcome when they arrive and an emotional farewell from Gus on his guitar when they leave. We stayed... More

We booked a four night stay at Ratu Kini's and ended up staying for 6 weeks!! Never wanted to leave. We met so many backpackers and staff members that we now call friends.. Food was lovely and snorkelling off the back of the island was fantastic! Trip to remember :)
