WOW! Our family were blown away by this incredible property, from the welcoming staff, grounds, spotless facilities, COVID safety measures, titanium upgrade to a beautiful waterfront view, mixologist hand crafted drinks, fire pit restaurant & amenities. Attention to detail was present throughout the hotel. Originally booked 2 nights and decided to extend stay for 3 more nights. Family enjoyed the multiple amenities (bike rentals, water slide, pool, jacuzzi, outdoor games, Grit & Glory with complimentary cookies. The property was beautiful and despite it being quiet with minimal occupancy, the hotel was busy with daily upkeep and kept all activities & amenities open. We will be back & will use our Titanium welcome gift for breakfast instead of points.

We recently stayed at the Grand Hotel for two nights during our visit to Fairhope. It was a beautiful hotel with great accommodations, and for the most part, we enjoyed our stay. The view was lovely, and we had a great time walking around the grounds, enjoying the gorgeous scenery. However, there was nothing grand about the concierge, Paul. We stood at his desk waiting to speak with him for literally thirty minutes. During this time period, he answered numerous phone calls behind his face shield, and acted like we did not exist. There were five of us standing respectfully at his desk (six feet away from him). He could not even acknowledge our existence for thirty minutes and dared not to make eye contact with any of us. When we walked away, he did not try to help us whatsoever and did not care that we spent thirty minutes waiting to speak with him about a dinner recommendation. However, the rest of the staff that we encountered were lovely, especially the housekeeping staff. They were excellent, friendly, and helpful! Overall, our stay was great, and our only complaint was the rude concierge, Paul.

You’ll notice the special feel of this resort when you enter the gates. The resort at Christmastime is magical. The gingerbread display in the lobby is a must see for families. The amenities as well as the guest room are top notch. Enjoyed my stay!

There are few locations that get five stars from me. And in today's environment I have found that service levels in hotels has dropped. Not here. The service and southern hospitality was outstanding. Every employee we encountered made us feel like we were at home. The property itself was awesome. Beautiful views all over the property. It was kept very clean by the employees. Perhaps we did not do enough research as we were unaware of the amenities available. We enjoyed the golf driving range and practice facility which were first class. We then found the hot tub and swimming pools. And finally in the evening we enjoyed a drink outdoors by the fire pits. And finally the nearby town of Fairhope. We wanted to visit Mobile and selected the Grand. We did not know that the nearby town of Fairhope was ranked as one of the best small towns in the South. Very charming with great restaurants and shops. We cannot wait to get back to the resort.

Just made a stop for one night at this place but it was truely impressive. The hotel very well maintained and very charming. People were very friendly. Rooms very modern and clean but without losing the southern charm - really well done! The history of the place is kept alive. Some damages by the hurricane still visible but without impact on the stay. And the best part of it was the food. The dinner at the signature restaurant was just amazing. Highly recommendable!
