It’s very loud with trains in the middle of the night. And some kind of plane traffic ;Guest should be warned of this and provided ear plugs. The sites are narrow. But it is a very well kept park; the people are pleasant and accommodating. That’s why I selected 3

After 4 months I still have major issues such as inflamed tendons. I had to extent my stay for 9 nights. Not only did she charge me 100% she also said she needs to release me from her premisses!! unless I sign a document from her lawyer stating that I Don t sue her!! For the first 5 days she had her assistant bring me ice twice a day. It is a great place but bad management.

We stayed her on our way back to Indiana from Disney for the night. The site had full hook up with a cement pad and a picnic table. It was pretty narrow. They had a little pond . The bathrooms were nice and kept up. It’s a good for an overnight stay if you’re in the area .

Sugar ants are bad which they told us at check in but they also told they would come down and spray the area once we got setup. NEVER happened. Since it was a holiday weekend they also didn’t have anybody in the office. Their maintenance man was using a blower while we were setting up and blew gravel and dust all over us. In general if you are looking to spend a night or two it was quiet and basically a place to park. The sugar ants invaded us no matter how much we sprayed for ourselves. We will look for a different place next time. The staff was pretty nice when we checked in.

The owner runs a communist park. She is a control freak who wont allow a visitor without checking in the office first. If its summer your guest would have to pay to visit pool and shower. Dont give your credit card information for they illegally hold the numbers and charge the card without prior authorization. They also quote one price but charge something completely different. Your charged a deposit that is not returned. Plus you will hear all the details your first day there how much she hates being left the park when her husband passed away. The price is way over priced for a teeny little piece of grass where they park RV's side by side. They are all about the money and charge for everything. Hopefully when you do stay there there will be new owners by then. She takes it out on the customers the fact she has it up for sale but cant find anyone to purchase it. The turnover rate of employees also says something for a place. The only way they do keep an employee is they happen to get paid by free rent in one of the parks owned rentals. The owner is a miserable person who doesnt get along with anyone. She certainly isnt professional and shouldn't be dealing with the public

When the Florida State Parks closed I needed a place to stay as i traveled home. I was so fortunate to stop for 11 nights at this KOA. Sites up on the hill have concrete pads and patios. Grass is mowed and clipped around concrete pads. There are so many places to walk with your dog and find their secret gardens and water features but, the best part is the staff. They checked on me. One of the staff members did a curbside pickup of rgroceries for me. Special people and a special place!

enjoyed an overnight stay; like numerous previous. convenient stop; right off highway. always greeted by pleasant receptionist. sites are cement; all facilities well maintained. noticed interior roads showing some need for repair; hope repairs are completed before too much damage occurs. will certainly return.

We spent one week here during Thanksgiving 2019. The campground is very nice, relatively quiet, an occasional train and frequent helicopters (Army base) but we expected that. We did not expect the training drill with helicopter machine guns and cannons in the distant. That was one day and ended around 10:00 pm. It was actually pretty cool to hear it! The women's restrooms were individual private rooms and very nice. They have a big fenced dog area and a small walking trail around a pond and Zen garden. We played golf in Dothan, toured the aviation museum at Fort Ruckers and enjoyed time with family.

Unprofessional staff, disappointing, nothing handled in a professional manner. It felt like we had died and gone to hell. Crowded, tight sites. I had to contact corporate over details of this visit. Rude, yelling to 2 different families in front of an audience who just looked at the woman like too "What is your problem?" Blessing in disguise when we left and had an awesome experience elsewhere! Both families were told we would get refunds on a night, neither one of us got refunded. When it was time to leave, she played not at home!

This is a top notch campground with many amenities. Staff are very friendly and helpful when checking in & during your stay. We've only stayed one night each time as we travel through the area. It looks to be a very family/kid friendly park. Nicely maintained. They came by our site to see if we had any problems or needs. The gravel sites were level pull-throughs with full service accommodations. Since we only stayed 1 night each time, we didn't hook up our cable but connection was right there. At the park you MUST use a water regulator as they have 95psi. Showers and restrooms were very nice and clean. Highly recommend whether you're passing through or staying for awhile.
