Detailed Reviews
It’s very loud with trains in the middle of the night. And some kind of plane traffic ;Guest should be warned of this and provided ear plugs. The sites are narrow. But it is a very well kept park; the people are pleasant and accommodating. That’s why I selected 3

enjoyed an overnight stay; like numerous previous. convenient stop; right off highway. always greeted by pleasant receptionist. sites are cement; all facilities well maintained. noticed interior roads showing some need for repair; hope repairs are completed before too much damage occurs. will certainly return.

We stayed her on our way back to Indiana from Disney for the night. The site had full hook up with a cement pad and a picnic table. It was pretty narrow. They had a little pond . The bathrooms were nice and kept up. It’s a good for an overnight stay if you’re in the area .

When the Florida State Parks closed I needed a place to stay as i traveled home. I was so fortunate to stop for 11 nights at this KOA. Sites up on the hill have concrete pads and patios. Grass is mowed and clipped around concrete pads. There are so many places to walk with your dog and find their secret gardens and water features but, the best part is the staff. They checked on me. One of the staff members did a curbside pickup of rgroceries for me. Special people and a special place!

Sugar ants are bad which they told us at check in but they also told they would come down and spray the area once we got setup. NEVER happened. Since it was a holiday weekend they also didn’t have anybody in the office. Their maintenance man was using a blower while we were setting up and blew gravel and dust all over us. In general if you are looking to spend a night or two it was quiet and basically a place to park. The sugar ants invaded us no matter how much we sprayed for ourselves. We will look for a different place next time. The staff was pretty nice when we checked in.

After 4 months I still have major issues such as inflamed tendons.
I had to extent my stay for 9 nights. Not only did she charge me 100% she also said she needs to release me from her premisses!! unless I sign a document from her lawyer stating that I Don t sue her!!
For the first 5 days she had her assistant bring me ice twice a day.
It is a great place but bad management.

stayed here for a week in February on our way home to Pennsylvania from Florida. very small park. only about 30 or so sites. all sites are paved and level. nice personnel help you with check in and take you to your site. alot of 1 night overnight campers. every morning park empties out until around 4ish when the next group arrives. i would stay again but just for a night next time. train noise every morning. military base close so helicopters overhead everyday.

This is one of my favorite spots when heading to Florida. Beautifully landscaped ,2 ponds, lots of trees, beautifully lit with decorative lighting. Awesome dog park. Paved sites with patios. Very friendly accommodating staff! Gets a 5 from me!

This is now known as Ozark/Ft Rucker KOA. The owners live on premises, which is good, but the female owner tends to be very abrasive. The property is sort of run-down, the sites are very small, and motor homes are not allowed to be parked on the same side of the park as camping trailers. The female owner got "in my face" and told me that this was HER park and she would do whatever she wanted, and treat people any way she wanted, and if I didn't like it, I could leave. I was on my way to Florida, and the next closest campground was in Dothan (about 20-25 miles further toward Florida). So I left, and I won't be back. This used to be a great park to stay at when the previous owners were there, but not now!! Don't waste your money--keep going to Deer Run if you're going North, or go to Dothan if you're headed South.

We stayed a few days here and it was horrible! They have a HUGE ant issue and nobody will fix it. If you tell the owner she gets rude and tells you to buy some ant spray! This place has really went down hill since we last stayed here. There was also a man driving a tractor that smelled of awful alcohol when he was trying to fix our cable box. Then later that night we needed something and went to the back door because it was wide open and one of the male owners was drinking as well! I guess if you wanna drink and party come here ! Also I couldn't understand why I had to pay for my granddaughter to swim in the pool if I was a paying guest there but one of the owners told me I had to or she would be escorted out. Total rip off!
I really liked the previous owners but these people are just plain rude!
