This will not be a place we will stay again. The shower was dirty, there was a strong odor of Clorox throughout our room upon arrival, our pillows were dirty and we could not obtain more because ‘housekeeping was not available’, we had 2 towels upon arrival for the weekend, had to go down and get more as they would not bring them to our room, the staff was less than helpful when asked anything including where a cart to load luggage would be, and we did not feel welcome but more so a bother by front desk. For the money we spend I sure Hope they work to improve this for the next guests. We will NOT BE BACK.

Great location, friendly staff, and clean. Only thing is there isn’t anywhere to hang your towels in the bathroom and a microwave would have been nice. Otherwise, it was great! Loved the Crabtree & Evelyn products.

Get ready to spend even more money if you book a room that has a full kitchen. The kitchen isn’t stocked with anything at all to be able to cook. Ask the front desk and bar for supplies and they do t have them and was told that I would have to go buy them or supply them myself.

I give my experience at this hotel -1 so Tuesday morning I came to the Doubletree to see if I can get a room for two nights and the man at the front desk I think he said his name was Keith was so blatantly disrespectful. It was me and my best friend we walked to the women’s restroom because we’ve been driving all day. This man watched us as we walked to the bathroom then when we came to the front desk to inquire about the room, he kept looking at my cleavage, so he told us how much the room was going to be, but I felt so uncomfortable I didn’t even want to stay at the hotel, so we walked out and he mumbled something under his breath, I turned around and he was just looking at our posterior. Something needs to be done about him.

The place is improperly run, and the staff does not wear name tag's, I was here on business when the was a SHOOTING IN THE LOBBY. I almost got shot when it occurred, however, I was fortunate enough to escape! I'd recommend other Hilton properties, however, THIS IS A DEATH TRAP. Nevertheless, the hotel management is in a constant turnover, and hates their new staff seemingly.

I chose this place for our overnight on the way back home. It was off our route but it was a Hilton, after all, and claimed a restaurant on site, meaning we would not have to get out again to find dinner. After our credit card was swiped and keys issued we looked for a cart to load our stuff. Front desk staff and housekeeping looked for a cart … nothing. No carts available. Come to find out, there are only THREE carts on the whole property to serve eight floors. None could be found. The manager didn’t apologize, but did help haul. We found our room. Sparsley furnished with old, stained items. Mattress seriously off the frame. Curtains torn and off-track. Even with lamps and lights on, the room was dark. Bathroom small; paint chipping off the door, toilet seat crooked, no wash cloths, no bar soap at the sink. That restaurant I was so glad to have? Website says it opens at 6:00pm. Front desk said it opens at 5:00. We showed up, tired and hungry, for the bartender to tell us it has been closed for awhile. He got us some bar food. His attitude was not Hilton-esque. The cookies were not even as good as they used to be. There were a lot of plugs in the room, which was good. This place needs a serious overhaul to live up to the once-great Hilton brand.

Our stay at the Double Tree was nice. We enjoyed the inside lobby with plenty seating arrangements to hangout without leaving the hotel at night since we were not familiar with Montgomery and wasn’t ready to retire to our room. The only other thing is our room was in the side of a main road so we heard more traffic than I would have like

As a HHonors Gold member I was shocked at the state of this hotel! It is so unbelievably dated. The sofa in my room belonged in a dump. The carpet was stained and in horrible condition. The SMELL?!?! OMG, the smell was horrible. There were no light bulbs in the lamps in our room. Stains, wood-rot, deplorable curtains, I could go on and on but suffice to say I will NEVER stay here again. The staff was fantastic--professional and efficient but even their sparkle could not polish the dilapidated state of this hotel!
