We really enjoyed the cleaniness and our big size room in this questhouse. Only minor was the music during the day of the shop under the guesthouse. Shared bathrooms were very clean and had a hot/cold shower. Melakka does not have a good nightlife so you probebly will relax and chill more in this guesthouse as near bars close down...

Location is superb, quality/decor is excellent and rooms are large with all the basics we needed (and so many other questhouses don't provide). We were in room 7 and being in the middle of the house meant we didn't experience the noise problems other reviews have mentioned, although our aircon unit wasn't the quietest. The inroom wifi was excellent and...

We arrived and the place didn't match up to the website... although it was a beatiful restored 18th Century dutch house. it was less of a guesthouse and more of a home stay, which may suite a younger crowd. We were shown to our room, where the sheets hadn't been changed from the last occupant... they were very apologetic and...

Stayed at this guesthouse with my boyfriend before starting my solo trip around Malaysia. First reason was because of the location : this guesthouse is right in the middle of Jonker street, i.e. perfect base point to visit Melaka. Plus there was the night market when we went there - so excellent to hop in an out of the guesthouse...

I went in with high expectations of this place. The pictures on their website looked lovely and the good reviews were neverending. yes the place was as tastefully decorated as depicted on the pictures. The cat was pretty friendly too. however, the 'extremely friendly' hosts as described in some other reviews were not at all friendly. They seemed impatient and...

I stayed here with my wife for two nights last week and have nothing but good things to say about it. The location was great - right on Jonker Street. We arrived on the last day of the school holidays so it was bustling to say the least in Melaka. We paid RM90 per night I believe which represents great...

We read the reviews of this hostel on Tripadvisor, and booked the room through hostels.com Its a great little place in a great location. Its right at the base of Jonker Street, so you get to enjoy the night market. You also get a real feel for all the community activities the place has to offer as you walk by...

We found Number Twenty on hostels.com, and knowing little about Melaka, took a chance that this place would be acceptable. And it was fantastic! Our cab driver from the bus station could only drive us to the end of the street, because it was a week-end night and the Jonker Walk is closed to traffic. We walked the few meters...
