I paid RM155 but my stay does not even deserve half the price. Maintenance are very poor. Walkways are dirty and had to queue for almost half an hour for check in! The worst is, there's no fridge in the room and you have to share 1 iron with the whole floor. Ridiculous.

Rate might be cheap because they maybe just want to grab as maximum as guests they can and neglected quality of service. But some facilities were not available such as kids pool and restaurant. i wouldn't stay in this hotel if they clearly stated that kids pool still not reopen. Check in process was very frustrating. It takes 2 hrs standing queing for the check in process. I can understand on MCO Recovery situation and social distancing thing..but at least please do it systematically by giving waiting number or assign adequate front desk staff. I booked 2 rooms. One of it couldn't be open due to door access card problem and have to wait another 40 mins. Rooms facilities was OK but lack on maintenance. Surrounding area especially staircase, elevator and corner area was filthy. Basement parking lack of lighting, faded parking line wouldn't help you and feel unsecure. won't come to this hotel again.

The experience in Temasek Hotel was really bad, atrocious and frustrating. We booked two deluxe king rooms for 2 adults and 1 senior citizen and suppose to check in by 2pm on 27th Jan. We booked via Agoda.com and paid the full payment of the rooms via credit card on 19th Jan. To us, these meant that the rooms were available. When we arrived near the hotel around 12.45pm, we were looking for the car park and the car park is located at the basement. We went into the basement and there was a car park entrance barrier that raised up automatically and no parking ticket was required. The first impression that we had when we came into the car park was bad. The car park was dirty and not well lit. We just parked the car under a bright light. There was a rubbish bin that was full and smelly and it was located near to the lift entrance. Anyway, we just took the lift to the lobby. We had to go thru the wet floor near the swimming pool before we can reach the hotel check in counter. We went to the counter and asked when we can check in and one of the lady said at 3pm. So we just waited near the lobby area near the check in counter. However, I checked my booking details again and realised that the check in time was 2pm. Anyway, we just waited until 2pm and we were in queue after 1.30pm. During this time the queue started building up. When we reached the counter after 2pm, we provided our booking details and the lady at the counter told us the room was not ready and we had to come back at 3pm. She also mentioned that we had to wait for other people to check out and housekeeping to finish their job. We told her to call us at 3pm once the rooms were ready and provided our mobile number. So we waited around the lobby until 3pm and we went back to the counter to check the status. We knew no one will call us since there was a huge crowd around the lobby. We asked the manager if the room was ready and it was still not ready. We told her, that we will leave our luggage bag in their storeroom while we go out and hopefully our room will be ready by the time we are back. We returned to the hotel around 7pm and the queue was still long. We were tired and wanted to check in. We asked the manager if the rooms were ready. To our shock the rooms were not ready and we really got mad. We wanted to cancel the booking since there were no rooms available. The manager told us to call Agoda and cancel the booking. She said could not cancel the booking although there were no rooms for us. She and other staffs could not entertain us because they were busy managing the check ins for the huge crowd that was waiting to check in. Manager and the 3 staffs were managing 4 different queues to check in from 3pm until late evening (until we returned to the hotel after 7pm). At the end, my husband called Agoda to cancel the room booking and wanted our refund. We passed the phone to the manager and other customers who were waiting to convince Agoda that we had no rooms to check in and was waiting so long. APPARENTLY, if you are booking via Agoda.com, the booking will go to booking.com. We had to ensure that Agoda will inform booking.com to cancel the room booking. The whole process of cancelling was such a mess between the Temasek hotel and Agoda.com. We had to wait for Agoda's confirmation for cancellation until 8.10pm. At the end we left the place tired, hungry and dirty with no place to stay. We didn't take any shower since we left our home at 7am. Summary: A) did Temasek hotel had shortage of staffs due to public holiday? B) why did Temasek manager did not inform us about the lack of rooms and just cancel our booking instead made us to think that there were rooms available? C) the check in process was bad D) i have been travelling around the world and this is the worst hotel experience that i have encountered. E) this shows that my booking via agoda.com or booking.com does not confirm me a room though booking states rooms were available and payment has been made. F) We will never recommend Temasek to anyone. I am sure you will find a better place than this hotel.

Stayed for one night, away from the city. The room is quite spacious. Hot water is available. Complimentary water bottles and coffee. Overall, it's really worth it since the room rate is very cheap. But it's quite far from the main tourists attraction.

Booked by Agoda but pay at the property on the 7 Dec 2019, i been told my booking is not confirm (even i provided the confirmation letter and booking ID 435134433) . Then i m not be entertain anymore and i just stand beside the counter keep asking reception check the system . I m insist stand over that around 1 hours , lucky a Australian also booked at agoda encounter the same problem , scold and make noise to the manager and reception . Finally the hotel found is their mistake and i just able to get the room , the manager also not sincerely apology . Overall hotel is dirty , shower head broken , toilet flooding and aircon not cooling . The more terrible thing is this hotel double charge my credit card on 11 Dec 2019 without my consent , i have contacted them by phone , email many time but been ignored . I also found something of this Hotel seem fraud the rating in Agoda , so my advice is DO NOT GO FOR THIS HOTEL .
