Well maintained and beautiful old Baba-house. Service was friendly and the breakfast buffet was suberb with all the fresh tropical fruits. The hotel has nice courtyards and heritage rooms. Higly recommended.

Gem in Jonker Street! The hotel look like a Nonya Babas museum. A pre war old shop house hotel with great location, located just behind jonker street. Quiet and good place. However room furniture and beds seems a little old.

This is one & only hotel that brins back the heritage of Nonya Babas that is located in the historic heart of Malacca and a stne away from Jonker Street (Weekend Night Markets) are present. Staff there is very warm & friendly. When you walk in, you will feel that the pre-war old houses that has turned into a hotel...

Made a last minute booking at the Puri as had to make a stopover at Malacca en route by car to Singapore. I booked the Puri because it is generally well reviewed and is one of the hotels making a splash in Malacca. First of all, the reservations department on the phone was just the receptionist. She bluntly told me...

Being my first trip to Malacca, I was hoping to begin it with a memorable stay at Puri Hotel, reason being that it once belongs to Tan Kim Seng who was a pioneer of Singapore and contributed to the public waterworks here. After some clarifications via emails, I could already sense that it not about the hotel and its guest...

A nice little hotel from converted traditional houses. The rooms are rather ordinary and expensive for what you get but they are clean and adequate. There is a very nice garden café in the center and a comfortable lobby to hang out in. Wifi was unobtainable in the rooms and iffy in the common areas. The buffet breakfast was just...

This is our third time staying at the hotel. Will definitely repeat our stay there the next time we are in Malacca. I especially like the location as it is right on Jonkers street.

I didn't stay at the hotel - but I did use the spa and it was fabulous. I had the Puri Signature Package, which was excellent value and a wonderful, truly relaxing experience. Highly recommended!

I checked into Hotel Puri for a 3 days 2 nights stay. The hotel is strategically located along Hereen Street just next to (parallel with) the infamous Jonker Street. Jonker is the tourist strip with hustle & bustle & noisy but just walk next door to Hereen Street, you get peace and quiet. So, you are right in the thick...

Hotel Puri has been on the top of my list when selecting hotels in Melaka. We finally booked it for 2 nights. The hotel itself is a historical building owned by a rich man in the past and be converted into a hotel some years ago. When you entered the hotel lobby, you did not realize that it is a...
