We came here for lunch - didn't realise it was a B&B. We had kueh pie tee, popiah and noodles which were kindly served without seafood (including in the sauce). Prices are very reasonable and the food was great.

Café 1511 offers accommodation and food as well. It is located along Jonkers street and it gives a nice and clean dining atmosphere. They offer breakfast & lunch, we tried their Popiah (Spring Roll), BBQ Chicken Pizza & Continental Breakfast (scramble egg, 2 slice of breads, 1 sausage & baked beans). Overall I find the food are tasty especially the... More

Stayed there for two nights in a twin room (with window) and shared showers. You have to take off your shoes before going upstairs, but the floor is very clean. During the three days I stayed I never had even one speck of dust under my feet. Sheets and bedding were clean and the room had air cond and a... More

Great food and all food appeared to be prepared fresh and was very tasty. Had a selection of light bites recommended by server. Spring rolls particularly good. Also top hats a real treat. Excellent value and great service. We will certainly return when we are next in Malacca.

You can't get a more authentic experience than staying in a Baba Nyonya house (next door to the museum and is exactly the same style and layout). The rooms were clean and the staff were brilliant. The steps were quite steep so I wouldn't recommend anyone with difficultly climbing stairs to stay.

That was the first time I stayed in guest house in Melaka so I prefer guest house in Jonker street which is the center of interest location in Melaka. I chose this guest house is because I see good reviews in trip advisor. I stayed there with my other 6 friends, so we booked 3 rooms. We came very late... More

We decided to drop by for lunch and was surprised that it wasn't crowded even though it was very near to Jonker Walk. A friendly gentleman took our orders of Nyonya Laksa, Popiah & Otak-Otak. The Nyonya Laksa looked good and tasted delicious with the right balance of aromatic curry spices cooked in coconut milk with generous toppings of prawns... More

We used to stay here a year ago & very impressed by the nyonya food especially the laksa. However during our this visit, the laksa tasted very different & I would rate it below average. Seems they have change the chefs or so ( I remember there are 2 elderly chefs a year ago). Will not come again for the... More

Pretty disappointed with the customer service at Cafe 1511. There were 2 staffs in particular that were extremely rude. One was a Chinese young lady prolly in her mid 30s or slightly older, short hair. And the other one, in her late 20s or early 30s long hair with specs. I was basically at the counter area searching for the... More
