This place is a gem in Melaka. I felt very special since the momento I entered the reception till the end. The bedroom is perfect! Clean, spacious and very comfortable. Great breakfast with fresh local fruits and food. And the beat- an incredible pool at the rooftop, perfect to chill during hot days.

The hotel is very nice, very kind people and enjoyable swimming pool. Breakfast in the courtyard is very pleasant. The rooms are large with fully equipped bathroom (bathtube and shower). We highly recommend !

My family of 5 (3 children aged 6 to 11) stayed 4 nights here while in Melaka. We booked the Bintang Suite which is essentially 2 bedrooms separated by a sliding door, each with its own TV!!! We slept comfortably in 1 king bed and 2 singles. Loved that the huge bathroom has 2 wash basins, a separate shower cubicle and separate toilet. And even a bathtub! Our sleep was comfortable as the hotel is located on a quiet street 5min walk away from the main tourist area. There are ceiling fans as well as aircon in the suite, and windows can be opened if one so wishes (beware though of the local mozzies which are everywhere in Melaka). The hotel grounds are fabulous. Air-conditioned main lobby to lounge in while waiting for our transport, free indoor and outdoor parking, al fresco and well-ventilated breakfast area, rooftop swimming pool big enough for 2-3 families with kids to splash around and not get into one another's faces. And the best of all - the greenery everywhere that is intentionally incorporated into the design of the place. I won't spoil the surprise element by posting photos ;) Daily included breakfast was pretty simple fare but the quality of the food was good - esp the chicken curry. Quantity was also adequate to fill us till late midday. Appreciated the fresh fruit juice so much! Staff were friendly and polite yet not overbearing or intrusive. They were also very prompt in offering any help we needed. This is a smoke-free and vape-free hotel - just what we need. Having said all that, the best bit about the hotel is the personal touch.. when our aircon was found leaking, the boss personally oversaw the prompt rectification and offered his apologies. When we needed a restaurant booking, the boss's son helped us with the call. And when there was an evening function below our room, the boss was there again offering his apologies for any inconvenience caused and we were even invited to try the durian croissants at the buffet table! Upon returning to our room we were presented with glasses of fresh banana juice - yet another thoughtful gesture. Side-note -- in a bid to reduce waste, there are NO plastic water bottles in the room. Everyday 2 glass jugs will be filled with clean drinking water and one can boil water and top up. Please bring your own water bottles and help to save the earth :) MUST-GO -- if you are a durian lover like my family, make sure you book a slot to visit the organic durian farm (Gapam Eco Farm) owned by the boss himself. You will not regret it! Suggestions for improvement -- 1) to install shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower cubicles, in place of single-use liquid bottles 2) a self-service laundry service might be a nice plus point? 3) fishes at the rooftop pond, with option to feed them :) Overall we truly enjoyed our stay here. On the last evening we discovered that the back of the hotel actually leads to a huge 24h open-air hawker centre bustling with customers! Pity we did not get to try it but it looked authentically Malaysia. Don't miss it when you're there!

Hotel staff went out of the way to help us with the settlement of a parking fine. This was especially helpful since we didn't know Bahasa or where to pay the fine n were already leaving Malacca soon. They helped us end our holiday on a good note. Thank u!
