Property is good. Food quality is really really poor. I fell sick after eating there. The staff at hotel isn’t the most considerate. We complained to the duty manager but all we got was an apology - doesn’t help. There is much more that is expected out of Taj - I frequently visit but this was a very very poor experience. Please don’t visit, not worth the money or effort. If you run a hotel as big - the food has to be top notch and the food has to be fresh. It was at the other end of the spectrum - really really poor. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit. It’s like they take it for granted, since there are no places to eat around - you have to eat there and hence there’s no effort. Really poor and disappointing. Expect far better from India’s premier hospitality chain. The service isn’t personal too, they are just running it on brand value and the fact that it’s a great location. …

7 night stay right in the middle of covid. We drove down from Mumbai to belgaum, stayed for a day and then went straight to Taj Exotica. We had got a great deal at throwaway prices for their pool villa. The drive from Mumbai to Goa was amazing. Except for initial part of of Mumbai, most of the drive was pretty cool. We also drove through a national forest area through Karnataka to Goa where the temperature must have dropped by 5 degrees due to tree cover. Reached the hotel around noon time. Room was spacious with a garden and a plunge pool. Our son is a water being and spends a lot of time in the pool, so the pool was kind of a necessity. In our previous trip to Taj exotica pre refurbishment era, we had stayed in garden villa room. Currently the main pool was closed and there were limited activities we could do due to covid restrictions. We also did a few trips to North goa and also visited a few bakeries and restaurants. Taj exotica is overall a good property but the main restaurant gets a little crowded during breakfast and staff would struggle to keep up with the orders. Food was amazing as always but orders were getting a little delayed. Have always been a fan of Taj resorts and this was one of the best vacations we had. Not worth for Money and will recommend to every one check your bill while you are about to leave the hotel they might add extra money or might take double charges Staff is supportive but service is to bad even food is not so good

If you can u should stay at Taj exotica….. but try to stay for at least 2 Nights. I have a epicure membership so stay was complimentary. They Gave me a beautiful villa . The place is beautifully designed the property is a 56 Acer property. Big temperature control pool. Private beach and shack. Great food.

Staying at any taj property one can expect a top level of care and feel good factor. The exotica stay of ours was nothing short of exotic. Starting from Siddharth who looked after our check in and everything we asked him he obliged with a smile. Chef Naveen and Ganesh who made sure our culinary experience was bettered with every meal. Atlee was absolutely outstanding and his smile while taking care of every demand of ours has really touched our heart. I cannot say that there was even one person who was not putting in their 500% to look after us. My fav was the intern chef Suhani if I am not mistaken who was in charge of the desserts. He sweet smile made my daily quota of ice cream the best tasting ice cream I have ever eaten. Thank you all for a most wonderful stay and holiday.

We have been staying at Taj Exotica since the year 2000. This stay was special as we celebrated our Ruby anniversary. Right from the time we arrived at Goa airport till the time we departed, we were looked after like Royalty. This is Taj Hospitality. Special mention for Ms Ninotschka, PA to GM, who has become our personal friend over the years. She was always at hand right from the time of our booking till we departed from the resort. Mr Malhotra, the new young and dynamic GM was a very good host. The front office staff Mr Abdullah, Ms Vasanti were very efficient and friendly. Chef Mr Naveen served us very good vegetarian fare. Mr Indra, Mr Atlee, and the entire coffee shop team extended excellent hospitality to all the guests. We look forward to our next stay.

Taj= hospitality; no words to say about their hospitality. They’re at helm in their hospitality and treating customer. This property is very much suitable for family with kids. There are vast and beautiful indoor and outdoor play areas for kids.

We had a wonderful family holidays at Taj Exotica. The experience from check in to check out was a pleasant one. We were served meat for consecutive night when the entire family is vegetarian. It happened the first time during dine in and second time for in room dining. The staff does not seem to care towards adhering to certain minimum standards including the manager of the the division.
