Escape from the pace of everyday life. Relax and immerse yourself in luxury at our historic Alabama bed and breakfast. Choose from 5 beautifully appointed guestrooms with private en suite baths, and enjoy an unforgettable gourmet three-course breakfast each morning. Nestled in enchanting oak trees our inn is centrally located and just a short drive to the towns of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Foley, Point Clear, & Fairhope.!
After 5 visits to Magnolia Springs Bed and Breakfast, it’s pretty obvious that I am a fan. The beautifully restored house, the colorful gardens, the inviting wrap around porch, David’s gourmet breakfast, the fluffy towels, the sweet smelling sheets, the tree shaded streets. a wonderful restaurant down the street all call me back again and again. Thank you, David and Eric.

Wonderful bed and breakfast! A quintessential southern experience. David made us feel at home in his remarkable historic home. He has five rooms and serves the most amazing breakfast you will ever have. We would enjoy our coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening on the front porch under the most lovely live oak trees I have ever seen. Don't miss staying here you will never regret or forget it.

This was our first time to the Gulf Shores area. When I was searching for hotels this B&B came up. They had me at the word Magnolia as it just screams southern hospitality. Then I saw the live oak trees and the front porch and I was sold!! As your reservation approaches, you receive an email with the link to an app for your stay. This app is filed with great tips and recommendations for your stay. The Innkeepers are very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Each day Dave would help us plan our day based on what we wanted to do. Thr food is top notch!!! Dave spends 4 hours every morning stirring the grits. He is so passionate about providing the best experience for his guests. I can't say enough good things about the place and the service we received

This is a clean, well run facility and a good value for the price. David and Eric. have been managing this place for a long time and it shows. They know what they’re doing to take care of their guests while not imposing upon their stay. And the breakfasts! They are incredible. The town of Magnolia Springs is also a great hub for adventures in many directions. I would stay here again.

Our stay at Magnolia Springs was the perfect start to our 2 week recuperation trip. We enjoyed all the wonderful and true benefits of a beautifully run, real bed and breakfast, just as it was meant to be. Our 10 hour drive disappeared once we pulled up at the lovely Magnolia Springs Bed and Breakfast. Everything was perfect, and our hosts David and Eric treated us like the most welcome guests. I could go on and on about beautiful grounds, cleanliness, delicious food, attention to detail, but if you know what a real bed and breakfast is, and that’s what you want, go Magnolia Springs and take a deep breath and relax. It’s a great place to call home while you explore an interesting and varied area. I’m taking my family back there soon. Jane and Robert from Little Rock

Let’s be fair..there are some things out of the control of an innkeeper and some belong right in their lap. A review should distinguish between the two and be honest in how ones visit went. Magnolia is a wonderful old home. It is comfortable and welcoming. Our room and perhaps the others are all wood. Pine walls and ceiling that perhaps had darkened with age. Lightning because of the dark wood needs to be increased in the bathroom. The critical part of the bathroom is quite dark. The bathroom is super clean and has towels big and fluffy. The entire room is spotless with a warm homey feeling. The King size pillows and the ultra comfortable queen mattress would have provided a great night sleep. So now the difficult part. Our head board must have been placed on the common wall between our room and another. The common wall has no sound barrier at all. The couple in the next room began close to 9pm with a cell call that we could hear both parties talking. After the long call we could continue to hear them talk in a normal voice. What preceded after 10pm could only be described as extra curricular activities with their headboard banging on our common wall. The exhaustion of activities led to loud snoring so much so that I felt we had a third party in our bed. Things quieted down about the time one could smell wonderful bacon being cooked. Drifting off finally to uninterrupted sleep for two hours. Breakfast was pretty darn great. We are gluten free and our breakfast was deliciously gluten free. Our compliments to our host. We would be remiss if we did not mention the beautiful tall Christmas tree and the many decorations through out the downstairs. This beautiful home sits in a wonderful old neighborhood and one should take a short walk to see the many types of homes. All situated back from the road and surrounded by live oaks and many other different trees. We met a few neighbors chatting outside with their dogs and they were as gracious as if we were their neighbors. Within a short walk, perhaps a half a mile is a beautiful restaurant, Jesses. While we were told we would probably not get a table we tried anyway at about 5:30 pm and were easily seated. The restaurant being less than half full. We were told our table was reserved at 7:30 which was plenty of time for us to enjoy a wonderful meal. Perhaps pricy for this area. With wine, appetizer, meal and desert it was about 250$. Service was excellent. I would suggest if other rooms are vacant that you request one not next to another guest. Ours may have been the only room attached to another , back to back. Had it been earlier and we were not really tired we would have requested a change especially after 10pm when the honeymoon started and then the snoring all night . With every passing hour we did say let see if we can change only to have it stop but begin again after 20 minutes. That did ruin our night but did NOT ruin our stay which was Greatly over showered by our wonderful hosts, their home, breakfast and our walk in a truly beautiful area. Yes we would return. We hope you do to.…

This lovely B&B is set within live oaks and tall magnolia trees. There are no others like the trees in Magnolia Springs for their size and grandeur. The place is spotless, comfortable, and breakfast delicious. Access to the house is easy and secure. Worthington room was roomy enough with a large bathroom. Very quiet. Guests considerate of each other and very friendly.

The Magnolia Inn is truly a B&B to consider when visiting Alabama or Florida. The Magnolia Inn sits on a Tree Lined street with Oaks that are like a Canopy when you drive up. Once you arrive David is there to welcome you. After you are settled in, you are free to roam the common rooms of the home , sit on the wrap around porches or stroll the gardens. I can't say enough about Breakfast !! It is one of the BEST I have ever had at a B&B. David will start you off with a Fruit parfait served in elegant dish ware, then its Beautifully prepared Eggs, Grits , Bacon, French Toast and muffins. The Breakfast is SO filling that you will not be looking to eat for several hours. The Rooms are nicely appointed, clean and fresh. My view (Room #5 -2nd floor) had a view of the beautiful oaks. In the Dining room there is a stocked fridge with sodas, water, juice and treats for you to enjoy a late night snack. David & Eric are such Wonderful hosts. They are near if you need them, but let you enjoy the inn on your own and I loved that. You are about 20 minutes away from Fairhope Alabama or 1 hour from Florida if you want to enjoy sightseeing, shopping, etc. Also, There is a Restaurant Down the street from the Inn called "Jessies". It has delicious Steaks and seafood and a nice atmosphere for dining. I cant say enough about the Magnolia Inn, Its Charming. You just CAN'T get this feeling at a Hotel chain.…

The connection between us two was/is obvious from the way we felt about each other. It is as much a pleasure to host you and your husband as you enjoyed it. We LOVED hosting you with your positive energy and pure appreciation! You showed it in every way possible. Remember me joking with you a couple days into your stay about "How I just wished you could find something to be positive about" You make innkeeping easy my sweet lady and I can't wait for a return visit one day soon! We are birds of a feather and look forward to years of serving you and your family for years!

Everything was perfect! Our stay exceeded expectations in every way. David & Eric are awesome hosts. Right away, David helped us with dinner reservations. His suggestions were so good that we only ate at places he told us to eat at. Every morning started with a gourmet breakfast fit for royalty. You couldn't eat better at a restaurant. Then we would enjoy more coffee on the picturesque and peaceful front porch. It is a breath taking view. Our room was lovely, spacious, and comfortable. Everything down to the bed linens and plush bath towels were exceptional. It's also a perfect location just a short drive to the beaches and the nearby shopping outlets. We could not be happier with our stay and we are counting the days until we can visit again.
