Michelle and her husband have done a wonderful job renovating this charming B&B. My husband and I wanted a cozy, slow, relaxing weekend and this was the perfect spot to be. We stayed in the Lavender room which was on the smaller size but didn't bother us, as this was all we needed for the two of us. The bed...

A wonderful, full length porch on both levels with rockers, loungers and tables. Hostess and Host are very nice people that put together proper and tasty breakfasts. I especially liked the yogurt bar, fix it the way you like it. Plenty of coffee, juices, and beverages on the 2nd floor. The Hooper room had a comfy king and a modern...

Mike and Michelle have done a wonderful job restoring this older home that sits on a hill with a beautiful view of the water. A friend and I were in the area for one night. I stayed in the Lavender room which was nicely appointed and very comfortable. There was a complimentary happy hour on the front porch with wine,...

We stayed in the Lavender room and really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was wonderful and we were able to eat it on the porch! The room was quiet and very clean. We had our own private entrance from the porch. There are plenty of places to sit on the porch. There is also a game/workout/common room. Owner was very friendly...

This lovingly restored old house has well-appointed, well-air-conditioned rooms with whimsical names like Aerie, Fig, Fisherman, Lavender. The beds are comfortable (I have stayed in both Aerie and Hooper), both are quiet but the Aerie more so, the bathrooms thoughtfully appointed with plentiful hot water. Michelle is a gracious hostess who will go out of her way to help you...

If I could give 10 stars I would! Michelle and Mike are such a great host/hostess couple. They have preserved the historic flavor of their home and added modern convenience and comfort plus an added dose of friendly charm and care. I'm almost afraid to be honest, because now the secret is out. This is truly a marvelous place to...

My husband and I stayed at this B&B in 2010 for our 10th anniversary. He surprised me on our 20th anniversary for another trip back to stay in the Lucinda room. The new owners have done a wonderful job renovating the place. They were so accommodating. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of rocking chairs and a hammock to relax on. Game...

Though originally from Guntersville my wife had not been back for quite a few years. When we decided to return for a few days we went on-line to find a place to stay. We found this B & B and gave it a try. I'm glad we did. The location could not be better. Michelle was a great host and...

We really enjoyed staying at Lake Guntersville Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the Hooper room on the first floor. It was very clean. There is a view of the lake from the porch. We enjoyed using the kayak. Michelle was wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is because it lacked a...
