Can't beat a good day on Lake Guntersville and Honeycomb Campgroud. Property is well maintained and the staff are so kind and eager to make your stay special. Sunsets are breathtaking. Looking forward to our next trip back!
This campground is a winner!! Friendly staff, beautiful location and nice spacious lots. The grounds are clean and well maintained throughout the campground. The restrooms are clean and everything is in working condition. We highly recommend this place. 30’ Class A Fleetwood Bounder
My hubby and I rented one of the 4 cabins at Honeycomb to spend New Years with two of our RV friends and wives. This is a well kept campground with alot to offer for families, couples, whoever. Paddle boats, pontoon boats and even RV's available for rent.Very clean and staff patrols the entire facility regularly. There are no smoking/ no pets in cabins and rental RV's , but there is one cabin and one RV that are pet friendly.Nice place.
First let me say this campground was very clean, unless you looked at the long term campers. The long term tenants have very cluttered sites. The camp site we stayed at was level. We didn't even have to use lateral levelers. We stayed right on the water in the back of the camp ground. Beautiful view and very quiet. That is until Friday morning around 9a.m. a worker came through on a ride on blower, sounded like a jet engine. Then he started blowing off the site next to ours with gas powered blower. As for the baby sitter statement...we were assisted into our campsite by a staff member after being read the rules at the camp store. I know that every campground has rules, but come on, NO SMOKING, NO ALCOHOL and they made me sign that the rules had been read to me. Then about every hour a staff member would ride by on a golf cart, EVERY HOUR! The description on the web site stated they have wifi, they do, but you have to pay another company for the service. The price was not bad $14 for 3 days, or $30 for 30 days. Since we had no satellite reception and could not even get over the air TV due to the trees and mountain blocking the signal we opted for the internet. All was good for the first day. Then we woke the second day to no internet. We called and was told that it would be 24-48 hours until it was fixed. We went to the camp store and was told it was fixed and that they have nothing to do with the internet, went back to campsite and still no internet. I called and demanded a refund. I ended up asking for a refund for the last two nights we were scheduled to be there. After the ladies apologized and made the refund, they asked why we weren't happy, I explained, and they acted as if nothing was wrong. We will not be returning to this campground.…
This is a gem. The staff were so nice and so helpful that my wife and I want to go back without a doubt. The site we stayed on was was 78. It was right on the water. They have canoe, kayak, John boat, and pontoon boat rentals. There are some long term campers, but they are well maintained and you never see them; one is a Sheriff which is nice. The sites have water and electric. We had 30 amp. I’m not sure if there is 50 amp. There is a beach and Guntersville is close and has shopping. There is no pool. I highly recommend this campground. It is absolutely beautiful.
