Room 222 ...beautiful and so clean..so appreciate a well maintained room! Highly recommend! The room is large, very clean and comfortable. Thank you, to Management! Microwave, refrigerator, large flat screen tv...everything you need!!
I have driven by this place for several years and decided to stop for a night. One of the nicest motels I have ever stayed in. Very reasonably priced as well. Extremely clean and well maintained. Comfortable beds, etc. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Gadsden.
Very clean rooms staff super friendly . check in was easy check out was also easy. Will stay there again for sure. Breakfast was great. Would stay there just for the gravy and biscut. Only thing I would add would be a channel guide for tv.
Staff was very nice. The outside of the motel was nice. The inside was probably being upgraded. The bathroom was very modern and nice and the beds were clean and incredibly comfortable. I do hope they keep working on it. The carpet needs to be trashed and the bedroom/kitchenette have a long way to go. Although these things aren't exactly desirable, they are nothing to complain about. The noise is something to complain about. It sounded like Romper Room VS Rodeo all night long. The noise was too much for me.
This past weekend my partner and I decided to get out of town for a bit and decided on Gadsden for the weekend. Having stayed in this hotel before, and having been pleased with it, we decided to stay again, but I won't be doing so again... We stayed in one of the king suites which was nice enough, even if a lot of the furniture was older (the dresser and nightstand really need to be replaced as they are showing their age) and the overhead lights in the living room area were oppressive at best, but the bed was nice and the large bathtub were what we were really there for, so no major complaints. When we went to check out they sent a person to our room to check things over in order to giving us back our $50 damage deposit. The person called down to the desk saying that they had found ashes next to the bed, so we must have been smoking in the room - I informed the desk receptionist that this was not the case, at no time did either of us smoke in the room, so he sent up another person to check on the room and to see if it smelled like smoke (my suggestion, since I knew it did not). Once she got there she called down to the desk to ask about "some gravel" she found on the carpet - the person at the desk asked us if we had any pets in the room - again, we had not, but at this point it became pretty obvious that they were trying to find ANY reason to not give us that deposit back. We did not smoke, nor did we have any animals, in that room, but I have no doubt that had I not personally checked out that I would have never seen that damage deposit back. If the place needs more money that badly then they need to raise their rates - quit trying to screw your customers out of their deposit.…
