While this is an old-fashioned place, it is clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant/lounge nearby and is right across from Mobile Bay. The owner (Anil) is friendly and very chatty if you want company. His mother also works there with him. If you are looking for a quaint place that is small, nice, and within walking distance to Mobile... More

This was an Emergency stay due to death, I had booked a room in Pensacola online and when arriving there was a lot of loitering going on outside the front office and a very bad area of town. This hotel was the closest one I could fine under $200.00 a night. Upon arriving the owners were extremely nice, however their... More

The room was so pretty and clean. The only problem was the WiFi connection. Everyone was over the top is customer service and southern hospitality. I will always tell people to stay here. What a view and right next door to an awesome restaurant.

Nostalgic old Florida motel. Needs a little TLC on the outside, but room was clean, cokd, and comfy. Bonus that it's right by Gambino's, our restaurant of choice in Fairhope. We would stay here again. Oh, the people in the office are super nice.

I cannot begin to tell you how disgusting this place is. Nastiest motel ever and they should be ashamed to take people's money and provide them with these appalling accommodations. My husband and I were in town on last minute business and we weren't able to check in until around 8pm and we were given "the last room they had"... More

We love love love Fairhope so decided to stay there instead of Gulf shores. Upon arrival we were hesitant because the outside was dingy and dated. But the inside was remodeled and clean so we stayed. It was ok but NO extra benefits! No microwave. No breakfast. 1 roll of tissue paper at a time. Then when we notified we... More

Picked Barons Inn because it is by the bay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The owners are the best! We were on motorcycles and they went out of their way to accommodate us and provide the little things we needed. Really enjoyed our stay!!

From the outside the Hotel does look outdated but the owners are in the process of painting the rails, replacing the windows, updating the outside area. The rooms were very nice, everything was completely remolded. All the bathroom fixtures, carpet, paint etc. was new, even the coffee pot, iron and blow dryer were new. It was very clean and the... My wife and I were persuaded to choose this location due to the price and proximity of a local event (Grandman Triathlon). I read the reviews of others and was expecting a renovated room based on the photos and reviews that are posted. Instead of finding a renovated room, I find a room that matches the dilapidated exterior. Initial Impression:... More

The outside of the property wasnt very updated, but the rooms were very nice. There is no continental breakfast, but they provided a small coffee pot. They are located right across from mobile bay. There are a few restaurants close by and the area was peaceful and serene, and beautifully decorated with flowerbeds. Sidewalks allow you to go for walks,... More

“To my knowledge, all of the rooms have been remodeled except room 30. Since it was our hospitality room for the family reunion that was fine with us. Request a remodeled room to be sure. My brother was in room 21 and said his wifi was spotty, probably a bit too far from the office. We had room 18, had no problem. Both are first floor rooms.”
