My husband and I recently stayed three nights at Emma's Bayhouse. Reviews have been very good, so we were surprised to feel differently. Here are the pros and cons as we saw them. Pros: The location and views can't be beat. Located next to Fairhope Pier and directly on the Bay, the views from the two bay front rooms are...

Visited Emma's for a girls trip. The staff is very easy to work with, the food was wonderful and the accommodations are exceptional. We got there in time to take in the sunset view from the back porch. It was an easy walk to the park and pier and we felt very relaxed and well cared for. Highly recommend!

The website does not do Emma's Bay House justice, the place is so much better! First our room, Betty Annette, was lovely and spacious, very comfortable chairs and bed. But the view and deck were the show stopper...absolutely gorgeous. We kept coming back to the room after exploring the area, looking forward to sitting on the balcony to watch the...

Great B&B experience, big rooms, cushy beds, wrap around balcony with views of the bay. Listening to the easy beat of the waves in the shore...couldn't ask for more. Love the attention to detail in the decorating of what seems like a new place, tassels on the fan chords, little southern charms. Staff is nice, can walk to town, stay...

We were given a gift certificate to Emma's Bayhouse last Christmas for a one night stay. As life takes its turns, we were unable to use until recently, which proved to be a perfect moment. Making our reservation was easy and when we arrived within a short time we were shown to the room we reserved - Betty Annette. The...

My daughter and I stayed at Emma's as we were passing through on a college Roadtrip. We only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay longer. The room was spacious and so nicely decorated. A nice mix of an antique dressing table with a modern, comfortable sofa. The beds were so luxurious. Lots of fluffy pillows and plush...

Emma's is a peaceful B&B overlooking the bay. The sunset from the balcony is the best in town. We stayed in the Kimberly Ann room. The room was a pale peaceful green with a comfy queen bed. Coffee was setup every morning at 7:30am in the hall outside our room. We could take the tray in the room or out...

We arrived in Fairhope with no Alabama map and our GPS having given up the ghost. But on our phone we found a list of B&B places and Emma's Bay House was number 2, the first place being full. Betty greeted me at the door after 7pm and welcomed me but was a little anxious that "her favourite room" hadn't...

We stayed 4 nights at Emma's in the Betty Annette and had a great time. This room (and the Kimberly Ann) has direct access to the outside (upstairs) balcony and has a wonderful view of Mobile Bay. All 4 rooms are very nice but if you have choice I'd recommend one of these 2. Emma's is very near downtown (a...

My husband and I stayed here last weekend for a couple's getaway and it was perfect. The room was clean, the bed so comfortable, the view fantastic. It was quiet and restful. exactly what we were looking for. The breakfast was so very good- the french toast was a miracle. Our experience was top notch.
