It would have been a perfect setting for a relaxing weekend but it didn't end up that way. Didn't get much sleep during the night because the air conditioning was too loud (it woke me up every time it cycled), and the next morning, I could hear the guests who were checking out early in the lobby. You could hear...

I made a room booking at the creekside lodge based upon the prices available online , apparently these are not accurate and if you have more than two people staying in a double queen room it costs more . Whatever you do don't query the price , I made this mistake and had the manager / owner Mary call me...

At the last minute we were searching for a place near Auburn, AL and a friend mentioned Creekside. Everything she said was true and more! The lodge is quaint but very nice and cozy. It boasts no more than 20-25 rooms. I read the reviews prior to going and decided that the couple that were negative were probably unfounded, especially...

The rooms are large and the location near the water is excellent for visiting the area. The hotel is rustic, and the staff were for the most part pleasant. However, we will not be staying there again because the cons outweighed the pros. The construction is minimal and one can hear patrons in other rooms and outside. We were awakened...

Stayed here recently as a couple. Lodge is rustic, yet very nice. Best beds I have slept on in a hotel in a long time. Reasonably quiet. Yes, we would stay here again. Good area for fishing. Cons..... Lighting in the rooms is terrible. Low wattage mini-fluorescent lamps. Forget bringing a book to read. No elevator. Most rooms are on ground...

We had a very nice stay here during a wedding in the family. We had a spacious room and great, friendly service. Their newly completed Event Center was perfect for the rehearsal dinner and the next night's reception. We had a great time.

My wife and I booked this lodge on Groupon with the knowledge that the date could not be changed. Well as mother nature would have it the date was during the ice storm of Feb 2014 in the south. Richard the owner was so nice as to change the date to a week later which he was not obligated in...

We booked this lodge for a weekend getaway and it did not disappoint! We only live 30 minutes away and it was a nice spot to relax and unwind. The rooms were spacious and clean, and our king size bed was very comfy. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely go back again!

If you enjoy staying in B&B's, but don't need the breakfast, then you'll enjoy the Creekside Lodge. The property is lovely, but because it has hardwood floors throughout and all of the rooms face an open atrium, it is a bit noisy. The continental breakfast consists of coffee, juice, fruit, and prepackaged muffins. And all of this for only $150...

We booked out this hotel for a wedding party a year ago....Well we ended up filling a little over half of the available rooms and both of the upstairs suites. We are an older couple, so not hard core party throwers by any means, but we did have a lot of friends come in from all over we had not...
