This hotel neelam is clean, renovated and the stay was quite comfortable. The service is better and are improving from all corners. This is the 2nd time I have come in consecutive months and it was much better than last time. I WILL COME HERE AGAIN.

This is a very old property adjacent to park street but though OYO have taken some rooms , its very good and maintained well. It is centrally located for easy move and roam. But one thing I will suggest not to take complementary breakfast because its not hygienic, its from roadside .

Only the location is good. A very basic hotel, too much price. We stayed for 8 nights, it was 2250 per night for a triple share.... They did not change the bed cover for even a day...forgot to provide breakfast 3 days. At last we had requested for wake up call and a taxi on the last night... didn't get...

When we first arrived the room we were given was huge but very dirty, but bearable and better than others around Sudders St so we took it. However, the horror started as soon as evening hit. Bedbugs everywhere!! Thankfully our bags were on the other side of the room, so as soon as I saw I threw our bags straight...

The 1000rs room was a real disgrace, with broken windows, stained bedsheets and has probably been cleaned last time in the colonial era. Not only the staff were very unhelpful and rude but they also sat just out of our door from 3 to 5 am chatting and shouting. Cherry on top of the cake: there was no electricity during...

We stayed in Neelam several times in the past. We were looking for a budget room, hard to find. But the small corner non AC one for 750Rp was fine to us. Not really clean, but not smelly. The charm & the balcony made it for us a good stay. Staff is friendly & prompt. Hot water in the morning...

Good value hotel at 2200 INR per night - pick a renovated room that will have AC, flat screen TV (lots of English channels) and new finishes throughout. Staff are helpful and will get you anything you need: food, paper, beer, etc...Convenient to the New Market and Park Street for restaurants.

The Neelam is a thick-walled, three storey colonial era mansion that was a backpacker hotel last time I visited a few years ago but is now half way through a metamorphosis. Now the ground floor seems to be a private residence, while the first floor has typical so so rooms with high ceilings and no particular style. This is also...
