I visited the Estate in May 2015 for a week with my family. The welcome drink at the airport and Break at a scenic location overlooking the confluence of 2 rivers with tea, muffins, sandwichs served in typical English style were a delight and set tone for a very different vacation. The Estate (1600 Acres, i was told) is nestled... More

We spent four nights at Glenburn with friends in January, during the quiet season when the tea is not being picked. We aren't tea drinkers but it was impossible to pass up the opportunity to try so many different tasting teas derived from the same trees, depending on the time of the year when the buds and leaves are picked.... Beyond expectations..... loved this place, it was the highlight of our trip and wished we had stayed much longer. Great hosts, good homemade food (plus the tea) and one of the great hotel views of the world. In retrospect the drive to get there is nothing compared to Sikkim or Shimla and I would happily do it again even with... More

The most ideal location for relaxation . Situated in a valley surrounded by pristine forests , this tea estate is a jewel . The hotel has eight beautifully done rooms and to find an accommodation during the peak season is difficult . Visiting this place I realised why it is so popular among international tourists as well as domestic travellers... More

This hotel is more like a guest house and a very nice one at that. Faye and William were very friendly and ensured all our needs were met. Breakfast and lunch are served in the lovely gardens overlooking the natural beauty that surrounds, providing an opportunity to marvel at the Himalayas and K2 on a clear day. Dinner is a... More

We stayed at Glenburn for a long weekend. It was an unbelievable experience. Set in a truly unique location the estate is immaculately kept. Very nice rooms with magnificent views. The dining room is one very large table where all quests eat together. The food is excellent. The estate arranged various trips for us. They are very accommodating. We took... More

We spent four wonderful days in this Shangri-La situated in the Himalayan Mountains, surrounded by tea gardens, hikes through the tea gardens and tiny villages, scenery to paint, and of course wonderful tea picked at the estate. Each evening a delightful family meal, meeting fun and interesting people, and wonderful food from a different region each evening. A little off... More
