Had visited Mirik and booked the double bed room with view through our travel agent. Manager refused that he received any payment. When our agent mailed him the receipt only then did he allow us to enter our room after insulting and making us stand out in the cold for 1.5 hours. On top of everything while checking out he...

Located closeby to Mirik lake, Hotel ratnagiri is a lovely homestay in the quiet and peaceful town of mirik. Nothing much to sightsee, but a wonderful place to rest and unwind. The rooms are good and spacious but nothing fancy. Absolute value for money considering the tariff rates. There is no breakfast inclusions, but there are enough restaurants around the...

Warm, cozy, comfortable. Ratnagiri is more a homestay than a hotel. Stayed in the room upstairs with a view as suggested by other reviews on tripadvisor. Nice, cozy interiors and a reasonable view. Situated very close to the lake. They have no restaurant but there are good restaurants a few metres down the road. The owner and family were very...

This was one of the better hotels in our entire trip to Gangktok and darjeeling. The hotel rooms were very nice with wooden panels and clean beds. The space provided in the rooms is also nice. The hotel does not offer restaurant services. The location of the hotel is proper as it is near the Mirik lake. You can simply...

Hotel Ratnagiri was clean and up to the satisfaction level of me and my colleagues. Except that we happened to visit on some pooja season, there were no workers but the owner was very generous to offer us rooms only. The rooms were cozy and clean.

At very nice and warm hotel. Perfectly located near mirik lake. Very clean and well maintained. Service is very polite and prompt (all thanks to Gulab, the hotel boy). The rooms are very tidy and cozy. Lots of blankets provided for those chilly nights. Bathroom fresh and geyser working. It would be a pleasure to stay in this hotel anytime...

First the good points. Comfy bed, simple but cute wood panel room with a nice view of the lake. That's it. Now the downside. Every one in Mirik has a dog that is left outside and they bark all night. There are also many wild dogs that also bark all night. People do nothing about it. OH normally sleeps through...

The beds at Ratnagiri were the best we experienced in India in terms of both comfort and cleanliness! The rooms were very spacious, clean and had hot water. The owner was very helpful and friendly. As there is no restaurant at the hotel the complimentary tea is a nice touch. There is a nice place for breakfast a couple of...
