We are running a small bed and breakfast traveler's hostel of 5 rooms for the travellers visiting Jaipur. Our Aim is to provide personalized and homey feel to our services. It is a bed and breakfast set up with the comforts and warmth of a family home, where we sit together, eat, drink and share our travel experiences, discuss the next days program and places to see, laugh and sing and create our bonds for life. We are very centrally located, just between the old Pink City and the main MI Road.

Explorer's Nest is a great place to stay in Jaipur if you are not looking for a luxurious stay. It is just like staying at home. Arvind is available in the morning and evenings, so you can chat with him and the other guests over tea or dinner. Arvind is an ex armyman, so he has interesting experiences. Also meeting the other guests, many of whom are not Indians, is entertaining as well as enlightening. His helpers are polite, ready to help. Food is decent, freshly cooked. Arvind is an antique lover, so the stuff in the house is worth seeing in details; and listening to his stories about how he acquired each item. It's a quiet place, has a nice balcony and a terrace. It is also quite accessible from main roads. Only problem I had one of the five days that I was there was warm water. Otherwise, it's definitely worth recommending, for family, friends or even solo travelers.

I stayed here in Jaipur for 19 days and I couldn't of asked for a better place to stay. As a solo female traveler I discovered Jaipur isn't the ideal place to explore alone. Arvind arranged a driver named Shabir to pick me up from the airport, and he was my driver for the next couple of weeks so I didn't have to travel alone. At the house, there are two wonderful house boys who cooked for me every day and did my laundry, this was an excellent convenience (and very inexpensive)! My room was spotless, and there is plenty of hot water in the shower (but listen to the warning posted as the water is VERY hot!). Arvind was always available for questions or an interesting chat, and his wife Shoma is delightful to talk with. She took me on two walking "tours" of the city to see it like a local, and this was much appreciated since I was afraid to walk alone. The rooftop is fantastic for getting some sun and also watching local kids fly kites! Make sure you do this, it was very relaxing! There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby and you can also order food from the Swiggy app (don't use Zomato they get lost every time!). I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Jaipur, it is a home away from home!

It gives us immense satisfaction to know that we could make your stay a pleasant and a comfortable one. We cant boast of luxuries, but we do try to provide the basic needs a traveler requires once away from her home like basic comforts (hot water being one),clean space, safe space, dependable and reasonably fast wi-fi,cheap laundry, affordable clean & healthy food, and a personal touch in an alien country. We are happy we could provide that(so it seems from your appreciative words) And we got what we look for: To meet and interact with a wonderful person like you who became a good friend,in fact,a family member. You leave behind some very happy hosts. We thank you for giving us one of the most memorable hosting experience.

My partner and I loved it so much we stayed on TWO separate trips. Arvind was always incredibly kind to us and we both felt relaxed and comfortable in his house. The location was brilliant, the room was spotless and the atmosphere was always welcoming. I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Thank you so much. I am honored and humbled! You both were such wonderful guests. So very friendly, warm and genuine. I had some most magnificent conversation that would remain with me through out my life. You both touched my heart. After your departure the house was sad. You both with your kind words and ways will always remain in a special place of my heart.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and were very pleased with our choice. The owners are highly knowledge and intelligent people with so many stories to tell. The room we had was very cosy and had a private bathroom. There is a sitting room open for guests and a terrace upstairs which can be used for relaxing or practicing yoga. Meals can be arranged within the property which can save some time if you are in a hurry. We had breakfast twice and we felt it was good value for money. Owners can offer you airport, train station pick ups or drop offs for added convenience as well. Highly recommended!

I met Arvind and his family in 2014 and we became friends immediately. Since then, I've been staying with them almost every year. Arvind is a very calm and discrete person but loves to have great conversations and gives valuable insights about Jaipur. He knows great markets, restaurants and if he has time, he is happy to show them to you in person. His wife is a very lively and warm person with a large knowledge of botanics, arts and crafts and culture. It's really fun to have her around and talk to her. The house is in a great location, nevertheless very quiet and extremely tidy. It's walking distance from the main attractions of the city. The rooms and the living area are decorated with love and make you feel at home right away. The balcony is the best place to chill on hot afternoons. From here you can observe the beautiful Gulmohar trees blossoming and the happy squirrels climbing them. Arvind does yoga (normally every day) and you are always welcome to join in and enjoy the early morning breeze on the rooftop. The rooftop is also a great place late in the evening, you have a great view to the surrounding mountains and the starry sky. They offer a small menu to choose from and the breakfast is very nicely prepared with love by his home help. I can highly recommend Explorer's Nest, you won't regret it!
