An unforgettable opportunity to spend some time in a Rajasthani palace, with authentic pieces of furniture and household equipment original to the place still in use or on display. The service is impeccable, they are really proud of their hotel which is still owned by the royal family who used to live there. You are genuinely made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive, rather than it being a manufactured courtesy of some other high end hotels. Be sure to check out the bar (with ancient photographs and trophies) and the coffee shop (with cups autographed by ‘celebrities’). The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was huge with views over the second courtyard. Food at dinner was excellent, but less so at breakfast compared with other hotels on our trip. There’s free WiFi but it’s terribly slow so keeps timing out; 4G in the room was intermittently ok. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The hotels ambience is of big haveli or palace setting with all the trappings that go with it. What puts it apart is the service. Especially the Food and Beverage and the house keeping. The staff are polite to the degree of embarrassment. The rooms are a bit awkward as the original structure has been retained. You need to plan in an extra day in your itenerary to enjoy this hotel

Bit disorganised. I went for a massage. They said the masseur had a problem and would be 40 mins late, but it was obvious they forgot to book him. I have also been trying to book an internal flight for three days through reception. Still not done. The gym was built about 25 years ago and some of the equipment is that old. Lovely setting and helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful palace.

My first ever trip to Rajasthan (pink city) and it was one of the best trip ever as i got to stay in this royal hotel...As soon as we checked in we were welcomed in a royal way ...!! Our room was on 3rd floor , with beautiful view and large bed. They have one antique genuine jewellery shop... bought one gorgeous earrings. We wanted to have a full round of hotel, the staff helped us explaining each corner of the hotel... Dinner in courtyard with chilling weather was something we liked the most, bcz we had heaters around. Our 3 days stay went happily and totally worth it.
