This is what you expect thinking of a stay on a trip to India! It is one of the oldest castles in the area, around 300 years old, ie more or less dating from the founding of Jaipur. Beautiful courtyards, excellent service, great food. Location is close all the sight of the town center. A nice spice shop just at the entrance gate. Lots of marble, hence, maybe sounds are traveling more than usual at the hotel. Beautiful pool, but it is not the season. The gym equipment is very old, probably the only remark I have.

This positives about this hotel is the building itself is simply stunning and the employees that work there are very kind. The food was good and was multi cuisine but we had Indian food only. Our room was very large and historic. The bed in our room was very uncomfortable the matress was thin and had been placed on some ply wood. The bed itself was more for show and to suite the heritage feel rather than comfort. Without sounding too harsh I would say the furnishings lacked any luxry including cheap towels. We paid £400 pernight. I just expected more for our money especially as we have stayed at cheaper hotels since and they have really been 5 star It feels like the hotel needs some investment to improve the overall experience for the guests.

So the outside of the hotel/palace is beautiful. But the potential is wasted when you realize how rundown some of the property it. The gym equipment is from 1960s - it’s actually dangerous. The showers in the rooms need a complete overhaul. The WiFi didn’t work at all in the entire hotel. The food wasn’t very good. Etc etc. All of these are easily fixed. They need to put in the effort to do so though.

We stayed at the Raj Palace just after our wedding and it was a truly luxurious stay! The food, the room (deluxe suite), the decor, the staff, everything was superlative! You really get a feel of royalty and what it was like to live as queens and kings back in the day. We even had a traditional singer and a puppet show during one of our meal which we highly recommend! The breakfast food also tasted so good! Special shout out to the staff who made everything so luxurious for us!

This is a four star hotel, and one that has seen better days. While the grounds and exteriors are stunning in appearance, the rooms are sorely in need of an update. The WiFi is spotty, cutting in and out, and one often has to re-log into it. The doors to the rooms are exterior and the hotel key is a padlock with a key. The location is a good half-hour from many of the recommended restaurants and shopping. The staff is lovely, however, and ever so friendly and accommodating. Mr. Gordhan Singh, in particular, was a fantastic member of the housekeeping services. A nearby mosque broadcasts prayers over loudspeakers at 5:30 a.m. each day, so expect to awake early.

We had a 2-night stay at this wonderful hotel with exceptionally good service. Big rooms, the only drawback was that the room had very little natural light. The breakfast was excellent and this resort takes personalized service to a totally different level. The hotel is a quiet oasis in the middle of an unbelievably noisy and traffic clogged central part of Jaipur.

The location is great. It is close to everything . Despite its busy location, it’s quiet inside and safe. All the staff has been very accommodating and always have a smile on their face. We only stayed for one day and wished have stayed longer. The dinning area is one of the best dinning area I’ve eaten ( when it comes to hotels). They have one of the biggest crystal chandelier in Jaipur. I highly recommend this place. It’s a large hotel but you still feel isolated and enjoy a sense of privacy and solitude. It is worth the price we paid.

Once upon a time, in the heart of the regal city of Jaipur, nestled a majestic abode known as The Raj Palace. A stay here is akin to a page borrowed from the lavish lives of the Rajputs. As I approached the palace, the grandeur of its architecture stood as a testament to its royal heritage. Each stone, each carving narrated tales of bygone eras. Upon my arrival, I was engulfed in a warm embrace of hospitality. The next two nights promised an experience steeped in luxury and rich history. The staff, akin to the loyal subjects to their king, were at our beck and call. They carried an air of elegance and attentiveness that left a lasting impression. Among them, Sardar Parkat Singh, was a knight in shining armor. His demeanor was a blend of humility and pride that carried the legacy of Rajputana hospitality. His gestures were gallant, his smile reassuring. Sardar went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of a royal saga. His service was a tale of honor and dedication, mirroring the glorious traditions of the bygone Rajput era. The palace told tales through its meticulously restored chambers and courtyards, while the sun-kissed terraces offered a panoramic view of the Pink City. The gentle whisper of the cool breeze carried tales of valor and romance that once graced the halls of The Raj Palace. Each meal was a feast fit for kings, with a spread of traditional Rajasthani delicacies that tantalized our taste buds and left us yearning for more. The melodies of folk music resonated through the palace as the day bid adieu, and the stars lit the Rajasthan sky, narrating tales of the grandiosity that was The Raj Palace. The curtains drew on the royal sojourn as I bid adieu to the palace, with memories etched in gold, and stories to be told and retold. The Raj Palace didn’t just offer a stay; it opened its grand gates to a majestic past, and in those two nights, I lived a fragment of the royal Rajputana legacy. The Raj Palace, with its heart rooted in tradition and arms open in warm hospitality, promised a narrative not just lived, but felt and cherished.

The palace is beautiful… it’s an oasis well positioned in the caos of Jaipur! Super quiet place, very relaxing place in which you can find peace and rest after the city tour. Excellent food, amazing staff always ready to help you… and super Wow Margarita and Cosmopolitan cocktails!!! We didn’t vote 5stars just because of some uncomfortable things in the room (air conditioning super noise, light in the room)…. But we really recommend this Palace!
