I travelled with a large group of Europeans on a package holiday and could compare this hotel with others we stayed at in Rajasthan. It has loads of history but it is tired in places. We had a very good room at the top of the hotel but the lift to the rooms at the top was antiquated and small... More

I have no words to describe the feeling of staying in an Indian palace. I felt like a princess. The whole place is very well decorated and has a charming and authentic feel to it. It's pretty and pink! The outside garden is beautiful as well as the pool in the backyard. The rooms are small but very accomodating and... More

I have stayed in The Bissau Palace twice, I love it. The Staff are amazing, remembering my favourite breakfast preference is special as it is my favourite meal of the day. To relax in the sitting rooms surrounded by pictures of days gone by, imagining you were listening to the sitar and tabla with the Maharaja, enjoying a glass of... More

Really colorful and interesting character property. Worth taking photos of the murals, with each room different. Staff are friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast offers good food and choice. There is a pool at the rear of the hotel and a few souvenir sops close by. While modern conveniences may be lacking, the ambiance well compensates. Highly recommend staying... More

Perfect for a leisurely stay. Don't expect flat screen TVs or modern amenities but you don't need them. Enjoy the peace and quiet, read a book with a drink,Enjoy live folk music, puppet shows and great food.

This is a must place to stay in Jaipur. The palace is absolutely stunning. The palace has all of the original features. All of the rooms are very nice with very nice furnishings. The bed I slept in was comfy. The hotel palace provides good service and the food is very good. The palace does not have very good wifi... More

Front entrance & hotel is magnificent, like stepping back in time. Room was well furnished, and laid out. Staff friendly, nothing too much trouble. Facilities were wonderful & memorable. My wife & I loved our time there, wished we could have stayed longer. A real Jewel in this city.

Very impressive as you drive up to the front entrance and sadly that's where it stays. Our room was upstairs and quite large with a marble shower room which the water sprayed all over the place. We stayed two nights and were the only ones who ate in the large dinning room, table cloth was filthy and the older waiters... More

We stayed here as part of our G Adventures trip. Having got guts ache in Agra we missed many local sights. Luckily this hotel was a good one, they kept us stocked with toilet roll, offered foods to ease our belly ache and water was reasonably priced. Free wifi in lobby only. The bar area was fascinating with trophies and... More

The entrance and lobby is very impressive and transports you back in time to the old British colonial days. I expected land rovers to pull up and unload men wearing kakis, and pith helmets, carrying their muzzle loaders. Fresh from game hunting. The lobby is decorated with their trophies from days gone by. Not my cup of tea, but that's... More
