Loharu House is magnificent yet warm and welcoming. Not only is it a beautiful, sprawling bunglow in the heart of Jaipur, but it is also very elegantly designed and decorated. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and equipped with all amenities. The service is prompt and pleasant, the food deliciously homely. A special word for the absolutely lovely hosts and their...

We have been to Loharu house a few times now. As a couple as well as with our daughters. It's amazing that such a place exists in the heart of Jaipur. It has a grand living room with all the marks of a royal 'diwankhana' - lovely chandeliers, sofas that you know seated royalty and world leaders over the years,...

My visit to Jaipur this May was made both comfortable and welcoming, having chosen to stay at Loharu House. Located in the most exclusive of Jaipur's districts, this family-owned and run establishment has the the touches of a larger hotel whilst retaining its intimate, personable character. I enjoyed strolling in the gardens as much as my well-appointed room, and was...

I've stayed at Loharu House every time i have visited Jaipur, and one of the best things about it is that while the decor is vintage and the ambience is royal, the comfort is modern and the stay, cosy. In a hectic city like Jaipur, Loharu House is an oasis of calm and beauty, luckily, in a very central location....

The moment you drive through the gates of Loharu House, you know you're in for a special experience. The haveli itself is beautiful, the rooms are tastefully decorated, the gardens are expansive, the staff is super-helpful, and the family (who often join guests for dinner) are a great source of information and stories on all things Jaipur. Speaking of dinner,...

The Jaipur Hotel scene has improved greatly in recent years with a number of princely and other havelis having been renovated impressively and reincarnated to accommodate visitors to the city. None are cheap. And not all are very good. Loharu House is something different altogether - an aristocratic home where the owners take in paying guests. Their elegant home, adjacent...

Step back in time with a stay at Loharu House. Set a slower pace to life and enjoy all the tranquility Loharu house has to offer. My rooms and bathrooms are spotless, my bed was comfortable and the big windows of my room looked out onto the beautifully green gardens. I loved the atmosphere of the place the minute I...

I stayed with friends at Loharu House during the Jaipur Literature Festival in early 2015. It was a hectic, exhilarating trip and what we looked forward to every evening, was coming back to Loharu House. Staying here is a regal experience - from the sepia tinted framed photographs, gorgeous lawn, elegantly done up rooms to the delicious food laid out...

Loharu House is a gorgeous experience - old-world, elegant, understated. The property is beautiful. Each of the rooms has a distinct character - this is no soulless, modern hotel. The staff are there if you need them but you can also find quiet on the grounds. Otherwise, they are prompt and unfailingly helpful and all of them, especially Mr. Siraj,...
