The whole experience was mind blowing. The staff, food, property, etal. It was our anniversary and we hadn’t informed Taj about it. When they discovered about our reason to stay, they made it extra special by decorating our room and sending us cake. Some people are frequent visitors in that property and that encouraged us too. And we hope to go there again. It is a must visit property Taj is what it is. Always make you happy. And not to forget, the staff which makes an effort cleaning the outside of the property. It’s amazing to see their dedication in cleaning with smile, since people keep walking 24 hours on that road
We are leisure travelers who literally came to Mumbai only to stay at this iconic hotel..we had the most awesome time ever! As I state in all my revies - we are luxury travelers who've stayed in almost all of Tajs, Oberois and Leelas so yes we're fully aware of the luxury hotels and what they have to offer! We were staying at the iconic Palace Wing of the hotel in the Grand View Room facing the Gateway of India. It was a brilliant stay right from the view, to the room, to the pool, to the restaurants - everything was enjoyable! Even our little issues here and there - were sorted so promptly by Mr Praveen from housekeeping and also personal attention was given by Mr Chandrakant - the floor manager. Our most outrageous request too was gladly fulfilled by Mr Chandrakant. Really made us feel like royals! Absolutely worth visiting. The palace wing has a separate place for having breakfast too with crazy views of Gateway of India. Highly recommend this iconic hotel!…
Super time super place with super fun .. we had lovely stay with amazing food and hospitality shown by hotel.. Staff was super good… prompt service was the key.. a well spent anniversary day- what else you need when your wife is happy…
To see the Taj gives huge happiness. This great hotel has rich history & pride. The hotel is so good now, how it could have been in the beginning days of launch. It represents patriotism & it peaked when Pam terrorists attacked it. One day, I will go here & stay with family. It’s my dream Dream Hotel
Iconic hotel... you have to stay there if you are tourist in Bombay... you will have a resumé of India! very very crowdy hotel, obnoxious luxury but accross the road you have the most extreme poverty... choose a club room in the old wing, but beware!!! for the same price, you have very different rooms with different space.. we had to claim for a better room facing the patio! the rooms are a bit oldish, though very nice marble bathrooms... the windows are not sound proof at all, therefore if you room is facing the streets, it will be noisy!! for club-rooms, breakfast is at sealounge.. too small a space for the number of club-rooms at pick hours... and the personnel in charge of welcoming you at the door is stupid, inefficient and impolite... one point: the hotel decided very beginning of January'23 to ban smokers from the hotel!!! if you want to smoke, you have to go outside the hotel, at the entrance with the drivers, in a very little space, as if you were monkeys... totally inaceptable, for the price you pay not to have a space in the patio near the swimming pool where there is ample space... …
Taj as everyone knows , is renowned for its superlative hospitality in every aspect since its existence. Its buffet spread, especially the desserts cannot be surpassed by any other. This Republic Day, 26th Jan 2023 my husband & I had gone there for the brunch, and we had, as expected, a wonderful meal. Their almond cake which is my favourite, was not on the counter, so I was a quite disappointed. But in a short while, the pastry chef came up to our table with an almond cake and said here Ma'am is your cake! I was so touched & happy that inspite of the fact that the cake was not a part of the spread, she had immediately arranged it for me. Thank you Chef!! And then I noticed some people having a tricolour drink. Upon enquiry, we were told that it was tricolour lassi, and would we like to try it. We said yes, & immediately, an extremely personable bartender came up with a stand and enthusiastically proceeded to mix the lassis for us. I think it was the most delicious lassi I had, ever. The three flavours-mango, vanilla & paan representing the colours of our flag were a visual as well as gastronomical delight. The lassi was just rightly thick, sweet, cold & the changing flavours as we drank, were pure happiness. So that was a wonderful end to a wonderful lunch, and I was wishing I had one more stomach to have more -greed has no limits :) !!! Full marks and many thanks to the bartender Mr. Niranjan Aher for his innovation & skill in creating this delicious drink. Hoping to come for his cocktails soon , & wishing him the very best!!…
the hotel has extremely well trained & excellent staff - always smiling & ever ready to assist . The poolside morning yoga was a wonderful experience and the excellent Jan weather was an added bonus ! The Shamiana breakfast is a must to kick off the day
No comments on improvements. Everything was above expectation! This is the only place I will consider staying when I am in Mumbai. The location is central. Fantastic staff and food was outstanding. Try the swimming pool - wonderful experience.
It was a sudden plan as all the coffee shops were closed in the midnight we decided to go to shamiyana . Would really appreciate the service given by Fardeen Edberg and chef sagar who made us feel special with the tasty pastries . Keep up the great work♥️
What an amazing three days staying at the Taj Palace. The hotel was beyond beautiful and the staff went out of their way to make sure my very short trip was totally mementous. I would highly recommend staying here if you can.
