I needed a quality room for 2 days in Mumbai under 3000INR/night - no ordinary criterion, let me tell you! I resorted to my trusty lonely planet guide and found the ISKCON temple's description interesting. So I went out on a limb, called them up, and booked my stay. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality for money. The room... More

When we entered the complex, it was like we'd left Mumbai and gone to a cleaner, more peaceful planet! The rooms are very simple, but clean, decorated with authentic traditional furniture, and have brand new modern (and quite classy) bathrooms. For all this, the price is quite unbelievable for this posh area of Mumbai where hotels run in the hundreds... More

Our double bedroom was a good size, and fairly clean and looked out onto the temple which was very nice. The service we felt was quite slow and the staff weren't that willing to help us when we were inquiring about our train tickets. We chose Iskcon by recommendation of Lonely Planet, however we felt it was very over priced!... More

We arrived to find no help with our baggage. We were asked to pay upfront which is always a bad sign in my oppinion. The room we were offered had 2 single beds though we asked for a double. I asked to change and they moved us to a room which STANK of some odd chemical - it was like... More

This is one place to stay if you want to have ultimate peace in Mumbai. The tranquility of the place is magnificient. The pure vegetarian food and the herbal tea are excellent. The cleanliness levels are good and the property is very centrally located.

Stayed for 3 nights when first arrived in Mumbai, nice place to acclimatize to the city. Food at Govindas was great, and staff very friendly. At around 3500 inr the room wasn't cheap, but that's Mumbai.

ISCKON Complex, Mumbai is perfectly located for a nice quiet stay, with a great combination of sumptuous vegetarian food, great location and proximity to the beach(just 5 minutes walk)... The only drawback (if at all) is the lack of TV in the rooms, otherwhise the rooms are beautifully decorated with religous motifs and stylish furniture! Moderately priced and in the... More

I visited ISKCON Juhu during 2010-2011 during my official visits. Fortunately I had the opportunity to stay very near to the temple complex. This place is amongst one of the rarest place in the suburbs of Mumbai, which connects you to god. The whole temple atmosphere is so sublime and divine. Yes Govinda's cuisine is just perfect and I never... More

My parents, my wife, my kid and I...we all stayed here from apr 8- apr 10, '12. I was told the place is heavily booked so I should make reservations a few months in advance. I am glad I did! It is unimaginable to find such a good place to live in Mumbai!! Even if I discount the fact that... More
