Prompt response for the mails and hospitality is good. Booking through their site does not guarantee any room nor response. Better to call. Swimming pool is maintained good. Not much varsities for Breakfast. Food is expensive as much quality food can be found outside for lesser price. However stay is good and rooms are maintained clean.

The palace hotel has a grand appearance, room sizes are large and it has a serene environment. Staff is good and we were very well attended in the dining hall with good quality food and equally good quality of service with personal attention. In fact the hotel has a very large accommodation, which can be further exploited in a professional...

Really sad to see the governments way of running this hotel. Excellent location and structure but poor maintenance and service. It's time some private players took over this. There was cat when we entered our room. The bed was not made properly. Toilet was not even close to clean. The air conditioning was also hopeless. The TV was also very...

the hotel building used to be the summer palace for the mysore king. It is a beautiful structure in itself, abundant with history and old charm. The management has added the modern world amenities in the rooms as well as generally - swimming pool, etc. Food is better than average to good, and does well to keep you well fed....

Hospitality at its worst....staff just not accomodative...food not at all good...it gives u a feeling of palace from outside, from inside it is not even worth 2 star...just not worth its price...one should prefer any other 3 star rather than opting for this palace.

Went to Lalitha Mahal for lunch after a long time and was so disappointed I thought I should write a review. The lunch buffet sucks. It costs 1 grand change per person and honestly if someone even gave me free food from that place again I will not eat it. It is so bad I din't know where to begin....

After looking at the pictures of the hotel we were very eager to spend at least a day here.. but there is absolutely nothing good about being there. To start with the rooms- they look good only in the pictures. There's nothing worth the amount we pay Secondly the super naive and arrogant staff. The manager is extremely rude and...

Not the best service and a little bit aged, but an impressive heritage building with a lot of history and all you need is there, even a big pool. Built as the Maharajas guest house, now you can stay there in a real palace for a real good price.

It is beautiful piece of architecture with history standing tall all in white boasting it's beauty. It was built by the Wodeyars and gifted to British Viceroy which was used as a guesthouse by them says the history. Now it's given to private sector by the government itself in a leased basis which was turned into hotels & used by...

This historic property can be such a massive success if run properly. Currently it is managed by ITDC, and though the facilities are great, it is run shoddily as expected. The receptionist falters to confirm a booking, the restaurant serves a buffet spread that would be better at any local restaurant, the staff are so badly trained that they would...
