Anokhi has great breakfast and lunch and a nice garden atmosphere in the shade to hang out for hours. It is very popular with the yoga students. The owner has been living here for years and is a great source of information as well.

Have eaten at the cafe many times. The outdoor area has a beautiful garden setting and is an oasis of calm in busy Gokulum. They're only open for breakfast (Thurs -Sun 8am-1pm) and menu choices are varied, fresh and well prepared. It can get quite busy with yoga students after classes are let out and wait times can be long...but... More

Friendly staff and good food make for a relaxing experience. I went on a Sunday morning and it was busy with people, mostly westerners. You won't find a traditional Indian menu or atmosphere here. It's mostly pancakes, muesli, toast etc. I had a little bit of trouble finding the place as the sign on the front gate is small and... More

The cafe does not conform to what most Indians would think of, as a cafe. But then this isn't a place where you'll see too many Indian patrons. This cafe is extremely popular with yoga students. We went on a Sunday morning, the place was packed. The menu mostly had crêpes and other options to eat healthy. Sorry, I'm not... More

Awesome Cafe, garden and people. The aura is positive and places to sit are managed in amazing beautiful way. The menu is full of healthy food and drinks. You can sit in garden or common room, choose some delicious items and enjoy the environment. A must experience in Mysore. They made my morning today :)

We spent a couple of nights in Anokhi Garden Guest House & Cafe recently and it was absolutely amazing. The rooms are spacious, clean and very aesthetic. Marie was warm and very helpful. Everyone there was polite and courteous. Including the grand ol' lady - Juanita - the Indie dog who lives in the house. We had breakfast at the... More

The garden is great to sit in and relax. The staff were lovely and the food very good. Fruit salad was yummy and shakes also delicious. A little pricier than.other options but worth it for atmosphear and quality. Unfortunately limited opening days.

We stayed at Anokhi Gardens for a few days in August and everything was so perfect. The owner Marie was one of the loveliest people we have met. She helped us with everything we were looking for and our room was really spacious and lovely. The best thing was that she did not expect anything in return for her help... More

When I told a good friend I was going to Mysore, India for the first time his first piece of advice was: "give yourself a soft landing." For me, that was Anokhi Garden. I'm so happy this is where I chose to stay as I got settled in Gokulum for a month of yoga at the KPJAYI. My flight was... More

During my five-week stay in Mysore I unfortunately didn't at at Anokhi's, but would go there almost every day for breakfast. The food salad with shredded coconut and the American pancakes were my favorite to start the day! In addition to that, the owner is lovely and extremely helpful - always there for a chat in the mornings. I got... More
