This is a wonderful old house built by the current owners family many years ago. It is like stepping into an Edwardian cottage. We had the double room in the middle upstairs which had a 4poster bed. They lit a fire in the fireplace each evening to warm the room and put the electric blanket on to make sure we...

If your looking for a serene, peaceful beautifully done up home away from home, this is it! Madhavi is a vibrant, lively & a great spirited host & her hospitality reverberates at Sunnymeads. Not to forget Bholua, Bhusa, Goosey & Milkha all the gorgeous pets she has! Let me confess of not being an animal lover but I can assure...

Dear Kanchan, Manmohan and Anagh, Thank you so very much for such a lovely review. I'm so glad that all of you enjoyed your stay as well as the walk with Raaja. You missed the snow by barely a week.. Two days at Sunnymead was too short. We fell in love with every thing in Sunnymead. Old and new, Big and small. Four legged and two legged. And the food! It went straight to our hearts! We were served tea and cake on our arrival and it was a lovely precursor to what we could expect. The four course dinner was...

I absolutely LOVED Sunnymead, every single thing, it was the 'feel' of being loved, cared for and being incredibly precious. I described it as like staying in a mish mash of both my grandparents homes as a child, honestly I have never 'felt' so moved by a place ever. And the food was simply amazing

One has been to Simla so many times but decided to stay here just because of the wonderful things we'd heard. I was a little fazed by the location- below the cart road (highway), and a not close to the heart of town which means you need good legs or a set of wheels to get about. The house is...

Dearest Nandini, My apologies for taking so long to reply to your absolutely super review. Many many thanks my dear, it is most appreciated. In Shimla and yet away from the over active and noisy part of mall road. Beautiful cottage, Madhavi is a great host, she helped us find great places to wall. Haven't had a better meal- the spread was lavish and and tasty. Completely worth the price.
