Tattapani is known for its natural hot springs. However, due to building of a dam downstream, the entire neighbouring region has been inundated, leaving limited access to the hot springs. Having said that, the hotel is good and claims direct access to the water from the hot springs due to an underground pump. The rooms are good, with a average...

Visited the place on a long weekend with friends. The hotel is situated in Tatapani village (meaning Hot Springs) and has direct pipeline access to multiple sulphur hot springs brought to hotel's swimming pool. Till a couple of months back, these hot springs were located on the bank of Sutlej river but a nearby water storage project flooded the river...

Very basic resort with no garden or play area. Rooms are basic and food is also average. Just by reading all the hype created for hot water springs on tripadvisor we reached Tattapani after a long drive from Shimla. Despite our car driver discouraging us from visiting this place we had high expectations of seeing something unusual on our Shimla...

A beautiful hotel right on the banks of the Satluj. Worth a visit any day. The views are lovely, superb actually. The food for which we had was worth every penny spent. This place is around 45 km from Shimla but the drive was worth it - Beautiful and scenic. the hot water sulphur baths were also worth the time...

This review is purely for the services and food and not our stay. Drove down from Naldehra, a very scenic 45 min drive. This hotel is right on the banks of the river which is now swollen due to the new Dam. There is ample parking for about three cars in the open and ten cars in the basement. We...

This place is worth visiting only for hot spring pool bath. It is very far from shimla and Manali. The route from Shimla to tattapani is very exhausting and long. Its better to stay one day extra in Shimla then travelling so far. You should visit this place only if you are on at least one week trip. If u...

Tattapani is about 50 kms and about 90-120 min drive from Shimla. It is a small town and Hotel Hot Spring Therme is located right in the middle of this town and is worth a go once. Pros: 1- Natural Hot Sulphur springs right in the hotel pool. They offer both public and 2 private pools for family. 2- On...

Considering the location, the hotel is okay but not that great. There is no activity to do in the hotel. No proper entertainment arrangements. The sulphur water pool stinks of Sulphur so badly due to it being in a closed area. Nothing to do as such apart from playing cards in your room if you are in a group.
