The location of the camp is good; a short walk to Chandratal Lake. We were there for a night earlier this month. The tents are far too many and perhaps a smaller campsite will make management more effective. There were far too man people walking in and out of the campsite and some did not look as if they were... More

We had an awsome time at chandrataal. Parasol camps were comfortable and Bishen or BSNL made sure we had all we needed. Only bad experience we had was with fellow travellers as for some people fun only means drinking and loud music. The serenity and pure Ness of chandrataal is bring spoiled due to such people. My request to Bishen... More

Our time at Parasol was superb. Bhishan and his team were extremely polite in taking care of our needs - it felt like home. The camp location is beautiful and its just 2-3 kilometers walking distance from the Chandratal Lake. Food & other basic amenities were made easily available in such a remote area. All said and done we had... More

Team Bishan is always prepared for serving all needs of guest at such hostile location (in terms of reach and weather) .Tents are perfect with cozy sleeping gear, once sun goes down tandoor is lit in dinning area which is followed by delicious food . Definitely best camping site almost 2km before chandertal lake.

Visited Chandertal in 2014 and had the chance to stay in Parasol camps and it was good experience. Though it was quite cold in night and we felt symptoms of AMS there but the caretakers did their best in the hostile weather they were operating. Surely recommended.

We visited in the first week of June 2016 and we were group of 9, after completing the trek of around 10 km, we were not expecting homely environment but Parasol Camp proved us wrong. Many thanks to Bishan ji and Neel, we were totally impressed with the service, Of course the tent, food & general service was simply superlative.... More

We have booked our whole trip of Spiti Valley from Chandigarh to Manali through Bishan and I am glad to say that we made right choice. Spiti is offbeat location as of now with limited tourist and basic amenity hotels to stay but Bhishan made those to feel like luxury for us. Getting pure veg hotel is difficult in this... More

Comfortable stay at Chandratal after a tough drive from Kaza. Efficient team at the Camp help you settle down in your comfortable tents, Their energetic hospitality makes up for the lack of Oxygen. Good food, all credit to them for rustling up delicious dinner and breakfast with the little resources that are available at the location. Bishen is an awesome... More

I stayed in Parasol Tents near Chandratal in Spiti Valley on 28th Sept 2015. The tents were very comfortable and had sufficient warm blankets which helped us survive the night on which the Temp dropped to -8 deg C. The Owner, Mr. Bishen is very nice guy . He interacted a lot with the guests & kept us entertained with... More
