This hotel is very handy for the station so ideal for a passing through traveller. From the outside it looks very unpromising but actually was a pleasant surprise inside. The room was large and airy with a clean very fresh bathroom. Wifi worked well. The restaurant is very dark but perfectly adequate for breakfast.

We stayed here for two nights after the hotel was recommended on the Man in Seat 61 website. It is close to the main train station and we were travelling out of Delhi by train so it seemed to fit the bill. The area around the hotel is certainly interesting and hectic but the hotel provides a nice respite in...

Situated in noisy, touristy Pahar Ganj, this hotel was an oasis. As soon as we stepped through the door, we felt at ease. The rooms were very quiet, had AC, and were very comfortable. The bathrooms were fantastic and the showers were luxurious after weeks of traveling. The staff is incredibly friendly and provided us with above and beyond service....

We spent one night here after a long train ride into Delhi. The best aspect of the hotel is its location. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the train station and on the main bazaar strip with lots of activity. Additionally, it's attached to Metropolis restaurant, which has incredible food. The hotel room was also much nicer than others we...

I just stayed one night at this hotel last May. My room was comfortable and the bed was Ok. The roof restaurant was not a good at all. The food was lousy and my glass of red wine was at Delhi's temperature, around 38 degrees, no joke. You can take the express train from the airport to New Delhi station,...

The best rooftop restaurant in this neighborhood with friendly staff and very good and safe food. Next time in Delhi, I come back here for sure. I stayed in 2 other hotels in this neighborhood (same price range). Metropolis Tourist Home is the...

We arrived in Delhi without hotel reservations, and we only needed a hotel for one night as we were only in Delhi between trains. We found this place in Lonely Planet and headed there. It was more expensive than the typical hotel we stay at, but they showed us two rooms - a standard room for 2000 and a deluxe...
