The hotel’s location is very close to the airport, in Aerocity, which is a huge complex of hotels. It seems like a safe area, and the right around the corner from the hotel, within a 3-5 min walk, there is a mall with both sit down and fast food type of restaurants.
Taxis are quick and the bellmen are very helpful. The front desk staff were helpful and check in/out was quick and easy. Security in the hotel is great too.
The hotel food is very good, but as is typical, it’s pricey. Quality wise, it’s wonderful, and room service portions are nice, it’s quick, and all of the food/beverage staff are so friendly and eager to please.
The housekeeping staff are also quick to respond to any requests, and they are all very happy and friendly. One young man in housekeeping, Vishal, was particularly great, he made sure we were comfortable and had everything we need. He brought us items several times, and was always smiling and ready to serve.
The hotel has its own restaurant area, with a buffet for breakfast and dinner. There is also an Italian restaurant, we ate there our first night and it was nice, again, a bit pricey, but the pasta is house made and the pizza is artisan style.
There is a nice lounge/bar for drinking alcohol, and they have a good variety of liquor brands and types.
Worth mentioning: the A/C in our room was fantastic, the water pressure and temperature are very good, our room was quiet.

On both our visits to India in 2023 and 2024 we stayed at the Holiday Inn New Delhi International Airport 3 nights before and 2 nights after we ventured on our river cruises.
From check in to check-out we were treated courteously by all the staff we encountered. If there were any problems they were sorted speedily and without fuss. The airport transfers were timely and each driver provided a running commentary to and from the airport.
The rooms are clean and more than adequate. It is good to see the hotel is eco-friendly eliminating as much plastic as possible. The pool is a good size and maintained to the highest standard.
We were generally out during the day and therefore ate out away from the hotel. We had dinner each night at the hotel with a multitude of choices.
The breakfast sitting on the other hand had to be seen to be believed, it ran like clockwork. There was a multitude of staff of various levels with each knowing and performing the roles without fuss. The restaurant ran like clockwork and it was a pleasure to watch.
The staff in all areas are well trained and a credit to the management. We had the pleasure of meeting the GM Mr Amit Rana who with many years in the industry certainly has his finger on the pulse.
On all our visits we had enjoyable experiences and would certainly recommend the Holiday Inn New Delhi International Airport.

Best thing about this hotel is the location, right in the middle of Aercity development, which is modern, clean, organized and offers tons of eating and shopping (or just strolling) options just steps from the hotel. Never stayed in Aercity before but I really like it and think it shows great planning and development.
The second best thing is the breakfast buffet, a must-have as long as you have time though admittedly I love Indian breakfast so I did not try any of the western options. Freshly made dosa, paratha, variious North and South Indian options all fresh and delicious with good service. I did not try the restaurant for other meals because the menu looked uninspiring, too western and overpriced and was unnecessary with the mall choices nearby.
Front desk is busy and not overly personal, kind of your typical airport hotel experience.
Rooms are not great, well maintained and comfortable but definitely showing some age. I wouldn't say my room was dirty but it was a but worn and beat up in various places, and the hallways are pretty terrible, smelly and with worn carpets.
Honestly this would be no better than a three star rating if it weren't for the excellent location and breakfast. If you can live with an older property and if the rates are reasonable then it's a solid choice. If they invest in some updates this hotel could be really nice.

During my recent stay at IHG holiday inn aerocitu room no 424, I had a great experience, especially from the staff team (Anjana & Ayushi) the housekeeping staff were incredibly polite and attentivr' often checking if I needed anything extra during my stay. I appreciated the promptness with which they responded to my requests whether it was for additional towels or special arrangements.
What stood ouyvmost was their consistency in maintaining high standards to cleanliness and hygiene. Irs clear that the team takes immense pride in their work and it truly enhanced the overall guest experience.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the housekeeping department for their exceptional efforts. It's one of the many reasons I look forwards to staying here again.

I have stayed in several IHG hotels, and regard plenty of times at this specific location, just because there is no other IHG property in close proximity to the airport, believe me my self from hospitality background consider worst hotel management, first to consider the security team will treat you like a criminal when you are in the hotel seems like prison rather a hotel. Secondly there is no communication between the staff and middle management. Besides spending my money to be a gold member, this holiday inn aerocity have implemented charges for ice bucket,plates and cutlery, I find me ironic and stupid for a big company, I have been paying almost Rs.400 almost every time I would order from in room dining. I wanted to redeem my F&B voucher I was told it won't be valid with room service so I ordered couple of drinks from the Bar to my room, I was treated as if I am asking for free drinks and the guy wanted to see my voucher even though I explained it is a reward mile voucher not something complimentary. I have been buying points and booked rooms with rewards points entire team at front desk staff thinks it's free , not realizing I buy them and rewards nighs can't be redeemed for entire month. While checking out my voucher on my app was not working I was told by Partha and Gaurav their lost soul managers I have to pay , which wasn't my problem it was IHG and as a customer service they should handle with corporate to deduct my voucher for $20. Well I paid the rest and a lady from finance came out to help the Mr.Gaurav who was accusing me for paying a Rs.7000 for stay which was made by the hotel staff by mistake, i received several emails from Mr.Fayrav who is the assistant front desk Manager, totally Lost soul. I escalated this matter to guest relations on corporate level but it seems like it is handled by manila call centre they were lost themselves asking me to contact hotel since billing is handled at hotel. I had to find my confirmation email which was paid until April 2nd by rewards or cash and points and I approached their operation manager Mr.Animesh Ghosh for an extension of two nights from April 3-5 and he had advised his management to reserve a room inclusive taxes for Rs. 7k , yet I was accused by Gaurav from front desk to pay for April 4th after his investigation. Not until I had to send evidence of my bills and credit card statements of paying cash and points.
My loyalty with this IHG group has diminished. I was a loyal member of Marriott bonvoy and i chode to be part of IHG. That was a worse decision.

Our USA trip on last June had a new experience as under - an unique one
Hyderabad airport now is extended and it's a long stretch to walk. We were a bit worried on that. Fortunately the onward to Delhi by Vistara allowed a wheelchair for the onward journey to Delhi .We dropped our bagge which was booked for through checkin at Delhi for American Airlines flight to USA. This availability of ekarts at RGIA is good. However, if you aren't availing one make sure you have sufficient time for the long walk.
The return journey had a night halt at Delhi. We were booked at Holiday Inn inside the airport lounge so that the transit becomes smooth. On arrival and disembarking from the flight we took the ekart - a smooth long ride to the immigration counter. The immigration was very quick which allowed us some time to roam at the Duty free shops for some shopping. We contacted the Hotel counter at the transfer bay . The guy alloted helped in collecting our luggages and the navigated through to a hotel counter at the arrival lounge. After confirming our stay he took us to the 5 th floor Hotel lobby where we checked in . The room was neat with a spacious bathroom which was the need of the hour for a hot bath and freshing up after a 15 hours flight. The room service is 24 x 7 so no rushing for ordering as well as the food was delicious. The morning breakfast was complimentary and the spread was excellent. We had a nice tummy full treat. ( A note for anyone looking for same stay the hotel is within the airport area and charges are hourly based. Overall hasselfree and cordial).The reception arranged for a drop at the Tranfer counter for Vistara journey where we booked our luggage and got the wheel chair support endorsed for Hyderabad leg. The guy on the wheel chair assist was marvellous, took us through a huge crowd and efficiently navigated through the security check to the boarding gate. This is the best help we can recall looking at crowd and rush. Really thankful to the guy. The return to Hyderabad was smooth and finally at the end landed in our den - Home sweet Home.
This time the journey plan booking all done by my daughter Srirupa Ghosh Chaudhuri, but once we have gone through the details the next time it will be a piece of cake and we will follow same known route confidently. AMERICAN AIRLINES wait for our next trip.

The room was neat with a spacious bathroom which was the need of the hour for a hot bath and freshing up after a 15 hours flight. The room service is 24 x 7 so no rushing for ordering as well as the food was delicious. The morning breakfast was complimentary and the spread was excellent. We had a nice tummy full treat. ( A note for anyone looking for same stay the hotel is within the airport area and charges are hourly based. Overall hasselfree and cordial).The reception arranged for a drop at the Tranfer counter for Vistara journey where we booked our luggage and got the wheel chair support endorsed for Hyderabad leg. The guy on the wheel chair assist was marvellous, took us through a huge crowd and efficiently navigated through the security check to the boarding gate. This is the best help we can recall looking at crowd and rush. Really thankful to the guy. The return to Hyderabad was smooth and finally at the end landed in our den - Home sweet Home.
This time the journey plan booking all done by my daughter Srirupa Ghosh Chaudhuri, but once we have gone through the details the next time it will be a piece of cake and we will follow same known route confidently. AMERICAN AIRLINES wait for our next trip.

Location and cleanliness is fine. Staff at the reception, dinning room and house keeping need better training. When paying the final bill I noticed an error which should not have happened when we checked in. Even when they are busy, they should be more careful. Mixing up the billing with other guests is very bad. Good thing that I checked my bill and pointed out their mistake. Food was served after a long wait for a reason we couldn't figure out. A guest in our party ordered a drink during our dinner and she was not served until she finished half her meal and you see the staff chatting with each other and busy taking photos!!!! Service was very poor and unprofessional. Other guest had a leaky toilet which he complained about but it took them ages before they changed their room. Did not expect this from Holiday Inn at Aerocity, New Delhi, especially when you are paying such high price for an overnight stay.

I spent a night there to transit to Nepal without entering India. Now, the hotel is now easily accessible from the international departure floor of T3. Just follow the "HOTEL" sign. After checking into the hotel, you can access all the facilities on the international departure floor including restaurants. My room was a bit wasted, the WIFI was not accessible with the given information in my case. Breakfast seems to be available only from 7 AM. A hotel man of the hotel had said it would open at 5:30 AM, but it did not in my case. Generally speaking, the room rate is too expensive for the service quality, but such an ideal location for those transiting overnight can make it acceptable.

Cutting it fine Delhi airport can take ages to get through. I'd get a long get at the airport and stay put

Reception crew is kind, so may consider your request and provide you suggestions
