We did a quick one night stay in the garden view room. We had great interactions with most of the team members after we were escorted to our room.. We particularly liked our time chatting with Randhir Kumar who is assistant manager of the housekeeping team. He'd come to help prepare the bubble bath in our room and had seen that we were admiring the horticulture and trees earlier. He went out of his way to offer us a very nice walking tour the next morning sharp at 8:30 around the hotel's 1000 trees. He was very knowledgeable and will go far in life.. He really did not have to do this but this made our quick getaway all that more memorable. We were so happy with food and beverage team that is quick and efficient- everyone in the in room dining team that were patiently taking orders on the phone, accommodating our ever request since our dinner meal plan was included in the package. The food was delectable. We were three of us and each tried Asian, Indian and Italian food. Everything down to the very last dish was good. The pudina parathas were a dream: flaky goodness.. an absolute buttery indulgence. Everything was superb. Even the Kulfi and Gulab jamuns were too. Maybe the pad thai could have been better. Breakfast the next day, albeit rushed, was also nice.. Perhaps my only suggestion is that since a lot of the food is mandated to come into the room due to covid-19 restrictions, maybe not use so much cellophane plastic to wrap hot food. Some smell had permeated into the food from hot plastic temperatures. But again, not their fault because they have to send it across and carry it without it spilling. There could be a better solution to this though.. Maybe! We really liked my birthday 200g birthday cake as compliments from the hotel. Not bad at all. Randhir came to check in on us even before we left. Hope the team will recognise his attention to detail. A true hospitality up and commer. I really despised the ipad in the room. It is absolutely archaic technology from when the hotel was first started. Nobody, i repeat, nobody uses these devices anymore. Then add television remote onto it.. Not good. One point taken away from the hotel just for this reason. It take up to 15 seconds for the pre-historic ipads to give a command to the tv to change the channel. There is just no way this would fly anywhere in a luxury hotel.. Clunky and outdated technology ruined half the tv viewing experience which wasn't much to begin with because the hotel has mostly 20 odd free to air channels - even half the news channels are absent which I like to check when I am away. Our room had a major flaw though. the bathroom railing doors left a gaping hole.. leaving anyone using the bubble bath to be easily visible to someone sitting on the bed right next to the bathroom.. We tried hard to see if we hadn't pulled it out all the way, but it was just a major wear and tear flaw that has been seriously overlooked. Not good for families Some of the other guests were not wearing masks.. which was annoying.

The Roseate is an oasis in the middle of a concrete jungle. The surroundings make you forget that you are in Delhi. The staff and service was quick and spontaneous. A special thanks to Mr Gavendra Solanki, who took special care and initiative and organised a lavish dinner for us and made my birthday memorable. The hospitality was great. Loved the food. Thank you for the hospitality and care.
