The Ashok is a historic hotel which has hosted many celebrities. It is located in the prime diplomatic area of the national capital. The American embassy, The Chinese embassy, The British high commission, The Australian high commission etc are within walking distance. We had booked a standard room but on arrival, we were upgraded to a suite. The suite was...

This is barely a 2 and pushing it 3* hotel. This is one of the poorest maintained hotels I have visited in my 3 months in India. Housekeeping is disgusting! Rooms are never cleaned properly. This hotel's towels are at least 20 years old and some shredding and still placed in rooms. Robes look like they are going to fall...

The property is located in a very nice surrounding in the Lutyens Zone very close to the diplomatic enclave. However, despite its grandeur it is not one of the best place to stay. Rooms are large having all facilities yet lack the proper maintenance and service. Staff is not caring.
