In the Pandemic , Taj has taken all the safety measures , right from check in to lift to the room, you will find sanitiser near to you, staff is wearing mask and maintaining social distancing. At breakfast , everything is served at the table in proper manner and you will feel confident which is required at the current time. Room dining service was quick and very friendly , they help you to have the food you like. The Pasta I had so savoury that I am waiting for my next visit. People at reception , at Machaan , at lobby , at room cleaning all were nice. One feels at home with Taj
I spent 3 nights pampered by the hospitality. There was a renewal of energies all round with the renovation. Great new menu at the Machan, delicious cuisine and personalised service by Deepak. Chef Tapash, Abhinav & Siddharth are doing a great job. The front office & concierge were very cooperative especially Nikita, Lakshay & Shraddha. The Emperor club lounge too was extremely hospitable with Pavan, Lakshmi, Harish & Om. All the hotel chauffeurs were impeccable in their service and so was Nitin at the airport. Looking forward to coming back soon.
on 9th Dec 2020 , we have done the booking through a wedding planner and initially Bhumika sain has made so many fake promises to us that she will do everything accordingly but later she mentioned that they will not refund the money rather we have to take full services and pay in full before the event. I was so disgusted anyhow we did our event and then Bhumika sain disappeared when we were checking out and the reservation staff asked more money otherwise they threatened us that they will not allow to move our stuff, in front of our guests we had to face so much of insult so we paid and left. She has arranged liquor for us as according to guidelines liquor should not be served and she stopped liquor after an hour stating it is over whereas when we counted that was only 10 bottles consumed ,when we asked for confirmed signatures she disappeared, is this the way Taj mansingh functions.…
Very comfortable stay. The hotel staffs are very polite and helpful. Front desk staff, Shoryaveer, extended our checkout time, after knowing that our flight is in the evening. Breakfast was good too. Proper safety and hygiene maintained, in Covid times.
A beautiful property in the heart of New Delhi. even in these hard times of Covid, great hospitality and maximum care. The complete experience from Check-in to check-out is excellent. We have had a very long stay (15 days) and therefore had all the time to experience the real Tajness of the Taj Mahal Delhi. Though the swimming pool is under renovation, there is enough open shady areas to laze around in the well kept gardens and don't be surprised if you find Thomas from Verq checking on you (not his task or duty) for water or any other thing that you may require. As per our last experience/stay at the Taj Mahal, all rooms do not have the health faucets (essential for most Indians) and therefore we requested for a room with the same and Taj was kind enough to provide the same. So you may have to request for it. The house keeping staff, a special reference to Gopal, who ensures that all your room needs are well taken care off and there is nothing left to look for. It is felt that the Taj Mahal should conduct a guided tour of the hotel, which was not done for us and we had to request the Taj team to show us around, for the guests staying for a longer period. Currently, in addition to the Tea lounge, three restaurants are operational, Verq- Indian cuisine, The House of Mings- Chinese and Machan- your 24 hours multicuisine savior. Though some repairs are in progress, but it is restricted between 0900 to 1700h, but we could only hear some remote noises (not a disturbance) I feel writing a few words will not do justice and a visit and stay is the only way to enjoy the great hospitality and Tajness.
