Our first visit to India & The Imperial Hotel was our first stop on our travels and we were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is beautiful throughout and spotlessly clean. Our room was very impressive with extremely comfortable bed and lovely bathroom although the hot water in the evenings was a bit hit & miss! We ate in the main restaurant and The Spice Route during our stay and both were excellent. Breakfasts were also very good with a great variety of options on offer. Very attractive pool area too with plenty of loungers although we didn’t use. This is a hotel steeped in history with great hospitality and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city.
Old world luxury and charm supported by an amazingly helpful and kind staff. The hotel is gorgeous- marble floors, antiques everywhere, mahogany clad fireplaces, tapestry like rugs. You feel like you are walking into an Agatha Christie set. The staff is superior in every way and truly want to help. Breakfast room is stunning in decor and the food is outstanding. The chef makes the best omelettes. I appreciated that both women and men were engaged in multiple service roles within the hotel. The spa offerings are just perfect. The massage and facial were some of the best I have ever had. Offer yourself time by the luxurious pool or indulge in your richly furnished room with excellent linens and towels and traditional marble bathroom. The fruit basket and personally written welcome note were quite an unexpected set of treats along with cookies. Loved the “Himilayan” water. Stay here and relax from a noise filled Delhi.…
Great drinks! Beautiful, magnificent hotel and bar… Talented bartender - Manish Mehta. This is a heritage hotel which houses the largest collection of prints in India. Classy, fabulous and grand❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful hotel, very luxury look with great rooms and great restaurants. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Manish Kumar who looked after us for both of our short stays at the Imperial. Would highly recommend.
Booked into the hotel for 2nights (24-26 Nov 2022) before heading to Goa. WOW! I have stayed in many hotels from 2-5 stars and I must say within 1 night this has reached my No1 spot. The character for the property from the guards you meet as you enter to the staff is spot on. 5* to the training managers. We were walking around the hotel getting lost and 1t the receptionist came to help us and then later on the Training Manager found us wandering around looking lost and helped us navigate all the 4 restaurants - no asking they just came to us. Every person is immaculately dressed, hotels is spotless - (although a small mark on my dressing robe!); the furnishings are marvellous with something to grab your eye as you turn the corner. I am going to explore as much of the hotel as we can tomorrow to really take it in. I had a meal tonight and although not a professional critic I love my food and am a bit of a foodie. I had the mezzo platter starter with ceased salad which we all shared. Lovely, everything was so fresh, full of flavour and served within minutes! I followed this up with a buy a ghost curry and rotis. WOW WOW WOW. Full of flavours, not spicy (would have liked it stronger personally), meat tender and no fatty bits at all. The masala sauce was rich and had bold flavours like a curry should have. BROWNSUGARGBR TIP : Meals can be shared - portions are large. 3 of our party (adults) could not finish their meals; I suffered and pushed forward and just about managed to finish my meal. Cannot wait for tomorrow and a good look around. The Imperial - you have made a good start, unless I see something during the day that contradicts what I have written tonight then this hotel will be hard to beat. Very Good Effort.…
We arrived after > 24 hours of travel and were weary. The staff here felt like we had arrived at a friends fancy estate. They were so warm and kind! We loved exploring the historic artwork. The place was spotlessly clean and breakfast was outstanding. Would return in a heartbeat!
Definitely a great experience top class place to stay. Staff are abundant and service with namaste 🙏 everywhere. Welcomed by Manish, who toured us through the place including the historical significance and modern 5 star weights and cardio gym and spa and massage therapies. Massage and spa experience is a must! The Thai restaurant also a great experience, spent 20 minutes walking and talking about the place with restaurant host imli 👍.
Beautiful hotel, excellent service. The room was lovely and all the staff very attentive. They catered beautifully for my dietary limitations. In particular, Roshmi was super helpful. Lovely stay, look forward to coming again.
This was our 2nd visit to this hotel. We have stayed in this hotel during September 2019. The hotel is maintaining very high standard service. All staffs were very enthusiastic to serve each and every guests. Cleanest is very high in public area as well room. Food were excellent. Charles- Snr Restaurant Mgr and his team were doing great job. Albert and his team at concierge were very polite and proactive for every guests. We are very much delighted to stay in this hotel and the pleasant memories always remain in our mind. No doubt that hotel has earned so many awards for best hotel in Delhi.
The place to stay in New Delhi, from the minute you pass through the main gates you are made to feel special, the reception that you get is second to none. The staff simply can’t do enough for you, the hotel management should be proud of their team at the Imperial ! It is a haven in the chaos of Delhi, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in New Delhi. !!!
