Lovely building with its history and charm and great location but that's where it ends really. Good welcome at the door and then it finished really. Lovely large room but rather soulless everywhere. Staff gave the impression of having far more important things to do than look after its guests..... or seemed rather disinterested to be at work in the...

This was our 4th stay at the Imperial and it is still amazing. History and luxury combined everywhere. Our rooms were all spacious and well appointed, the staff very helpful, friendly and efficient. My only complaint last year was that the WiFi was chargeable, history carried too far, but this has been rectified and WiFi is now complimentary. The food...

A magnificent building, well maintained, a heritage property and an oasis for the traveller. Entry is impressive, with guards and a gate. Security is high and required on entry past the immaculately dressed staff. Public rooms are splendid, with impressive and beautiful artworks everywhere, sparklingly clean and well cared for. Art deco touches show the date of building, the 1920's....

The Imperial Hotel looks very impressive, but somehow the pieces don't quite fit together. I found it cold, both literally and figuratively. Our room was freezing when we arrived, although that's easy enough to fix. What surprised me was the staff - very polite and correct, but with no warmth at all. We stayed here on our final night in...

Located in New Delhi (immediately accessed off a busy artery road) this beautiful heritage property is a haven of peace and tranquillity. Although she has probably had many episodes of cosmetic surgery, this old lady remains charmingly elegant and immaculately presented. All of the staff are truly wonderful – nothing is too much trouble or unattainable on request. Within the...

My only regret is that we checked in early evening and left early the next morning so we had no real opportunity to explore this amazing hotel more fully --- the halls are lined with amazing photographs; the breakfast service was excellent; our room was most pleasant. I'd like to spend a couple of days there -- maybe next time!

The Imperial hotel set back from the busy Janpath is a wonderful hotel. From security guards on the gate to the room attendants, the spa and restaurant staff the service is excellent. The hotel is steeped in history and just wandering the corridors admiring the artwork is enjoyable. Relaxing by the pool at the end of a busy day sightseeing...

The Imperial is a beautifully maintained historical hotel with lots of stunning hallways and grand public areas. We stayed at a good-size (around 50 sqm), Grand Heritage Room with high ceilings and period colonial furniture. The bathroom is on the small-ish side, however there is a decent sitting area with a full 3-seater couch and a single couch, as well...

We stayed here after three weeks travelling around Rajasthan and Bhutan. The rooms are huge, actually perfect in every way! The first evenings meal in the 1911 Restaurant was mixed and not memorable however the cocktails were excellent. The next night we dined at the Italian restaurant (San Germiniano) which was great and a change from the local food! The...

Took the chance to pop in for a drink in the bar as the Imperial is an iconic hotel and I had to experience it. The security is very good which gives you peace of mind. They are polite and courteous when carrying out the security checks. I walked through the cafe and restaurant and into the bar. The cakes...
