I usually don't complain much! But this time I decided to really treat myself and I booked a very exclusive and expensive holiday... But this place is definitely not the cosy and modern boutique hotel with a personal touch that I was expecting... Three major points that I would like to bring: - the room - the breakfast - last... We booked expecting 4 star accommodation and this is definitely not the case. Our room was "pokey", facing a very noisy thoroughfare, and the bathroom was definitely not up to standard (needing urgent remodelling). Having said this, the staff were extremely obliging - nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant staff were outstanding and the breakfast was second to none.... More

I had just returned from a visit to India which was a mixture of business and holiday. I spent 6 nights at the Amarya Villa and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is clean, bright and comfortable but what sets it apart is the delightful staff all of whom go out of their way to make you feel welcome and... More

Our room was booked months ago and we had booked 'deluxe" double rooms in this boutique establishment. Having stayed here before I was looking very much forward to the stay. We knew that the first night one of our rooms would be standard because of prior bookings, but were informed nights two and three would be the deluxe rooms. Upon... More

This small hotel, only 9 rooms, fits its description. It is a peaceful escape in a very noisy crowded setting. With great taste and imagination vibrant paint colors, shimmering fabrics and inexpensive furniture and accessories, each room is a joy. Some rooms are quieter than others. The Corral room was our favorite. Linens and beds are nice, AC works, everything... More

Dear Susan, Thank you for your comment. In Amarya Villa, the rooms are themed on the 'Navratn'. Each rooms are represented by stone and decorated according to the color of it. We are glad that you enjoyed the breakfast, next time you could try also the paranthas which are kind of Indian crepes. Hope to see you in your future... More

We understood that this hotel is relatively inexpensive and not the most luxurious but we were not prepared for what we found. As others have mentioned the staff are welcoming and try to be helpful. However our room was gloomy, damp and depressing. There was no door or wall separating the bedroom from the bathroom. The fixtures and fittings were... More

We stayed at Amarya Villa for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, let us leave our bags, etc. The room was a bit small but not bad considering the price.
