Have stayed at this hotel multiple times and the high quality of the service and attention to detail remains. Have noticed that the most of the old staffs have been changed but they were amazing the rooms have been comfortable and immaculate. Mr Kranti (the chauffeur) as always made my stays extremely enjoyable and exceptional.
Even the Gods are asleep at 2.45 am in Delhi but not the good people of the Leela Palace hotel. As soon as we landed and walked through the security gates, I got a call from Govind, the hotel airport representative, that he was waiting for us outside. I wasn’t worried as the hotel has never failed me rain, hail or thunder! Whisked away efficiently into the luxurious BMW 7 series car, my phone connected instantly to the car's Wi-Fi, resuscitated, and jumped alive with a hundred beeps and rings. Shishu Pal, our driver, greeted us enthusiastically, informed us of the birth of his baby daughter Arahita and made plans for the afternoon. As usual, the doormen - the best in Delhi, greeted us warmly, and Ajit asked about the rest of the family. The security personnel welcomed us with Namaste and huge smiles. Our bags disappeared to reappear miraculously in our room after 20 minutes. Stepping inside the double doors of the palace hotel, it only gets more breathtaking. The three guest relation executives give us a traditional welcome which I love and never get tired of. Inhaling the fragrance of the tuberoses in my garland deeply, we were ushered directly into our room, where check-in took all of two minutes. Numb to the outside bustle, we crashed instantly and surfaced in the afternoon with excellent Darjeeling tea brought to the room. Preeti had arranged our PCR tests in-house for our return journey, so that was a breeze, and we set out ready to explore. Shishu Pal was waiting for us. Sunil is present at the bell desk, smiling as always. Gurcharan, the doorman, and all the security personnel welcome us warmly. Around midnight we felt peckish and requested the magical combination of Chili cheese toast with extra green chili, crispy golden French fries, Hakka noodles with vegetables and extra garlic and hot sauce, Shitake mushroom and tofu dumplings with soy ginger sauce on a bed of jasmine rice. There was complete silence as we devoured the utterly delicious piping hot meal, raising our head only to tuck into the iconic and decadent chocolate dessert – the molten chocolate lava cake. It was a tiny cake, but honestly, the lava flowed like a volcano. This was definitely not the dinner my mother ever served. A big thank you to the Chef for conjuring up this unparalleled meal in the middle of the night. The following day at the Club Lounge, Gaurav helped us place our baked goods orders at the hotel bakery to be delivered around the city. I missed a few familiar faces at the Lounge, but then the last year has been uncommonly unkind to Delhi residents. Back to the airport in the afternoon, where Prakash met us at the curbside and helped us inside the airport until immigration. The hotel staff is simply phenomenal. Particularly impressive is the team's longevity, some of whom I have been seeing since the day the hotel opened, and that sense of investment in each of them. As Preeti said, the hotel looked after them during the pandemic, and the least they could do was the same for the hotel. I have stayed at several hotels in New Delhi and cannot dream of staying anywhere other than The Leela. I am so appreciative that a place like this that values customer service still exists. The Leela is an example of excellent hospitality and how business must be conducted, which is an art we are losing fast. The overall service and the facilities are beyond exceptional, beyond five stars. The Leela is the best hotel I’ve ever had the privilege to stay at. It is truly a place I never want to leave, and if I do, it is with the hope that I return soon.…
The Leela Palace was outstanding and every detail was thought of. Our driver, Ajay Chauffeur, was always very kind and accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Delhi. Getting a driver for every destination was always very easy.
Exceptional hospitality, friendly and professional staff, clean and beautiful rooms, very nice restaurants. But what really distinguish the hotel is the incredible architecture, beautiful interiors combining both ancient-style and modern artwork.
We went to le cirque for dinner and it was amazing a spearfish shoutout to Salman and Shivam for being so hospitable and taking great care of us. Shivam ensure he catered to all my requests before we arrived and Salman gave us personalised attention and service:)
Incredibly luxurious hotel. The room and property was beautiful, especially the rooftop pool and the huge bathroom in our suite. In the hotel we dined at La Cirque and had the degustation menu which was phenomenal. But our highlight was our meal at Jamavar - the staff, shivan and anil particularly made our meal over the top with their genuine and intimate hospitality. Chef Shamsher Ahmed’s butter chicken is the best we’ve tasted in India. A must to stay here if you are in Delhi or at least dine here.
The place has Great food and ambience! Staff was on point, Rishabh in particular was excellent in explaining portions and recommending dishes. Portions were quite big, good for 2 people at least. Highly recommend
Léela hotel was top notch! Friendly service, exquisite accommodations, fabulous food and luxurious spa. The welcoming staff was very special and made every effort to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Can’t wait to be back!
Bharti and Bishal were excellent servers at The Qube. Great service, very friendly and extremely accommodating. We enjoyed our meals and our stay at the Leela Palace.we look forward to returning here one day soon. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.
We stayed at the Leela Palace at the end of our 2.5 week trip through India. With no exaggeration, it was one of the finest hotel experiences of our many travels over the years. We have been very fortunate to stay in some lovely places all over the world, but the Leela Palace distinguished itself in two ways: the tasteful but very opulent decor and the incomparable customer service. The guest rooms and public spaces are perfect, with every attention given to detail. The staff are extraordinary to a person: warm, kind, solicitous, and very professional. Naresh set the tone when he greeted us at the airport and made us feel so welcome, our hotel drivers were excellent, and the gentleman who staffed the club level lounge on our last day took wonderful care of my husband (who hung out there for some hours). Most notable was the care evidenced by Akshat from the front office staff. He has an extraordinary commitment to hospitality and elegant manner and could not have worked harder to ensure that our stay was absolutely perfect (which it was!). Our last meal of the trip was at the hotel restaurant Jamavar, and the food was exceptional, as was our fantastic server. I cannot recommend the Leela Palace Delhi highly enough and absolutely would stay here again in a heartbeat.…
