We were traveling through Alabama and booked a stay at this lovely B & B in Columbiana. We were so glad we did! Diane and Andrew are absolutely delightful. The Inn has been beautifully restored to the elegance of days gone by. The Judge's Room was spotless and very comfortable, and the en suite bath had all the modern amenities....

Columbiana is a neat little town about 30 miles south of Birmingham, and a worthwhile alternative to the city itself. The Inn is a recently restored fine old mansion. Host Andrew Moore, a builder and property developer, did the restoration himself in masterly style. For instance, he fitted a bathroom (comprising shower and toilet spaces) into a tiny recess, but...

This is a quaint and restful place to stay. The host and hostess are so sweet and accommodating. They are also great cooks. Wonderful breakfast casserole and quiche as well. We stayed in the Visiting Parsons room and felt like we had the place to ourselves as it was away from the main house but we had access to the...

What a great one night stay. What a great little town. We needed a place to freshen up before and stay after a wedding at Sterling Castle and this B&B exceeded my expectations. It was a cinch to find and impeccably clean and comfortable. I immediately had the feeling of visiting friends. Ample parking and right in the middle of...

My husband and I enjoyed 2 nights at columbiana inn last weekend! We both needed a quiet, restful runaway from home. Because we had stayed here before, we took a risk and called at the last minute for availability! Thankfully, we slid into an open weekend. As before, Diane and Andrew were very kind and hospitable. The judge's room was...

We stayed here for three days and everything was perfect. The owners made us feel like family and their enthusiasm for what they do was evident in how they enhanced our stay. All of the plumbing, electrical and technology was modern and worked very well.

This was our first ever visit to the Heart's Desire Tea Room & definitely will not be our last! I live in a neighboring city and find myself in Columbiana quite a bit but for some reason had never taken time to visit the Columbiana Inn. We were more than happy with our experience, we had tea (aka lunch) to...

I took my Mom to the Columbiana Inn for Mother's Day weekend and we also experienced the by-reservation-only English Tea on Saturday afternoon. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is!! The owners, Diane and Andrew, were WONDERFUL people who did every single thing in their power to make our stay as perfect and comfortable and enjoyable as...

Christmas last year was the 2nd hardest Christmas of my life. I needed to get away. The Moore's gave me a safe haven, and somehow managed to shower me with hospitality, while at the same time, allowing me the space I needed to get through the holiday. I felt odd, imposing on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, but they said they loved...
