It has been updated over time. The original structures are probably 1930s - the wide porches and type of wood construction. Yes, very casual and you can bring your dog. Very close to boat ramps. The Restaurant does a great job, They service the community, you can buy a pre-cooked Thanksgiving Turkey dinner

The pictures on line do not justify the motel. The rooms are limited, there was a terrible smell. The ad boast of the whirlpool rooms, but in reality the bathroom was just that, and old whirlpool with a broken commode. If you're going on a weekend fishing trip with the guys, this might work. If you're looking for a getaway...

Always great burgers and fries. Average price. Great view of the lake. Good atmosphere. The vegetables and desserts are always good too. Coupons on restaurant.com. they have reviews on there also. I am not sure about their hours though.

The motel is very out dated. The restaurant has a roach crawling right next to me. Lots of drunks there. Only good was some of the staff was okay. The rooms are so so clean but has a bad musty old smell. Sign says absolutely no refunds on rooms or I would have left the first night.

I hate to give bad reviews, and this is my first...If you need to stay somewhere it's there. It's an old motel and the amenities are sparse Clientele seems to be more of the transient type. If you have other choices you're better off...

Do no recommend the restaurant. Can't speak for the motel. The food was not good and in our party we all ordered several different things. My Sister-in-law did say her grouper was good, however, the service was not good. Only had one waitress for a Saturday and she was doing the best she could. Need better service and quality of...

Being on touristic travel, I was delighted to find a room and food for a night at this scenic place. I enjoyed dinner and the friendly service and I slept well, but room service had been basic only. The biggest Plus is that it's a rare Hotel&Restaurant - don't go out for dinner ;) On the downside: WiFi was promised...

The motel is home to the local transients. Double occupancy rooms had the refrigerator and microwave in the bathroom. As soon as we saw the room we decided to leave. Can't speak for the dining, but if it's like the rooms....go to McDonalds.

Inconsistant of quality of food, sometimes can't find any better, other times send it back. So much potential!!! Needs a little work on customer relations, trying to be a Karoke bar on major eat out night (Friday), leave it as a Resturant, local karokers do not spend money just a place to hang out. Travelers, families and persons looking for...

We really liked it! The rooms are basic but inexpensive and very clean. And right on one of the lakes inlets and quick access to the hugh beautiful lake and to the mountains. We will go back in the fall and see the leaves change colors and drive in the mountains their with little traffic rather than the hugh traffic...
