I spent almost 6 weeks at Palmar working in the bar & restaurant and teaching yoga. The owners and managers Sebastian and Aaron are great guys, really cool and chilled out bosses with great visions for the place. The Yoga Shala is just magical in the middle of the lush green rainforrest with a view to the sea. No better... More

Our family (two adults and three kids, 12, 10 and 8) stayed here for three nights. I asked my youngest child what I should put in the review ...... I really liked the beach because of the warm sea and we could play in the waves, and we could go out quite a long way and it was still not... More

My friend and I LOVED this place! While you can stay in beautiful private tents (glamping), we were on a budget and stayed in the dorms. The walk to the dorm is through a green, jungle scene from the reception/kitchen/lounge. It was raining most of our time there, but the little lounge was cute and comfortable. The food is delicious... More

I visited Palmar for a yoga retreat and it was an amazing experience. The tents were very clean and comfortable to sleep in. The food was amazing. The beach is exactly what you picture for serenity. The staff were excellent and really took great care of the guests. The outdoor yoga studio was amazing and super tranquil with a view... More

We spent two nights in the King Jungalow because it has it's own bathroom, we are older and didn't want to walk to the bathrooms in the middle of the night. All of the tents look great and everyone seemed to be having a great time even when it rained. Lots of folks playing cards and board games, beautiful beach... More

This place really is beautiful! It's a tad overpriced for what you get especially in Central America but it is nice. We had a private tent with 2 single beds (they had no doubles left) comes with mosquito nets a fan and a locked storage box. The shower and toilets are communal but always kept clean. The eating and drinking... More

We stayed at Red Frog Beach Resort, and walked here every day to have a drink and eat fish tacos from beach stand called Nacho Mammas. Tent Lodges look really comfortable and secure. Friendly staff! Great food & drinks inside the open air restaurant.

Our group was staying at a different location down the beach and stumbled upon the Palmar Tent Lodge in need of a drink! The environment was laid back and inviting. After having a few cocktails we noticed a chalkboard with the word Yoga on it. My husband and I have been practicing for only a year but were eager to... More

We stayed here for about 4 days in July 2015 and had an excellent time. The beach and surrounding jungle are excellent and the owners are quite nice as well, hanging out with us and even showing us a good time in Bocas del Toro. Especially if you are a backpacker passing through the Bocas del Toro area, look no... More

I recently stayed 6 nights at Palmar for a yoga retreat, my friend and I stayed in the shared dormitory. Our cabin was tidy, comfortable and spacious. There are 2 bathroom areas, each with a sink/mirror, 2 showers and 2 bathroom stalls, all were well kept for outdoor facilities. I always felt safe, comfortable and happy during my stay at... More
