Fun & laid back place! We had only planned to stay for a couple of days but ended up staying a week. The staff is great....even made the rainy day fun. We made friends with everyone - including a cool sloth on the trail to the beach...not something you would get to do in Bocas town! Great surfing too!

best hostel i've stayed in panama. If partying on Isla Colon is not your thing then you def need to head over to Bocas Bound on Isla Bastimentos. 5 mins to the beach, and well wickid set up. Best part about it was the staff who couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

Bocas Bound Hostel has the friendliest staff and the most excellent location! A perfect place to get away from it all and still be right in the middle of all the fun stuff too. I highly recommend Bocas Bound Hostel for down-to-earth travelers who like to party, and also to those who just want to chill out on the beach.

Bocas Bound was a very nice hostel located on Isla Bastimentos. It was very secluded from the rest of the island which made it very nice to relax and enjoy the beautiful beaches nearby. There rooms were very affordable and nice and clean. They also have a nice big common area where everyone can enjoy themselves and have a good...

I stayed a week Bocus Bound and it was a beautiful experience. After traveling through out Costa Rica and Panama it was kindof a good feeling to stay there. The rooms were clean the beaches were beautiful and the place was so gorgeous. The negatives were that it just opened a couple weeks prior and they hadn't worked out all...

If you traveling to Bocas Del Toro you have to visit Basimentos. The island is beautiful and the hostel is the best place to stay. Its affordable and the people are really nice. “"semi-private" can get loud. With or without amorous neighbors, the walls are thin . Dorms I hear are nice or try a full-private.”

“If you're going to stay here, stay in the dorms, they seem to be kept nicer and they have more space.”

“1. The last water taxi leaves at around 5:30, you should check to make sure you don't get stranded like I did... 2. The allusive nude-beach is a bit of a hike, and not really necessary since the locals tolerate topless sunbathers, however, if you want to make the 2.5 mile walk, you will need good footwear, as once the beach ends, you have to walk through the jungle a bit to get to the nude side.”

“Be aware that the semi private rooms do not have enclosed ceilings!”

“Go for the semi-private which is only 4.60$ more than 2 dorm beds and make sure you bring ear plugs.”
