I've been here twice. It is a challenge to get there, but worth it. This place is amazing. In the summer you get entire beaches to yourself. You can explore the islands, take a water taxi to starfish beach, and wade with the starfish, explore the cave. Probably the prettiest place in the Caribbean.

Sadly, my family and I were staying at the resort during the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19. Panama closed its borders and the resort closed as well. We had to depart early. When I checked out I was told their “system” was down so I could not get a receipt. This worried me as I knew we had to depart earlier than our 8 day stay. When I got home and called the resort, it took almost one week to get my receipt. The charge showed a full charge for the stay. I emailed my contact and was told their direct management told them no refunds would be issued, only credits to be used within 1 year. This is not the response I was expecting. This resort may not even be around in 1 year as they laid off most of their staff the day I left. I have attempted to contact the CEO of the company that manages Red Frog. He has opted to not respond at all. I have disputed the charges in my cc, but the leadership of this resort should be ashamed. Airlines and most all other travel companies are helping their customers. This organization is electing to ignore and avoid their customer. If you have the same issue, Mr. Joseph Haley’s is their CEO. Good luck!

I came here on a day pass. The day pass takes you to a pool and beach called Turtle Beach, which is just over a hill from Red Frog Beach. I took the first boat over, and arrived at about 9:30 am. i had the pool, restaurant and beach to myself. I went for a walk on the beach and then walked back to where i started along the road. When I returned, still ha the beach to myself. It was a little too quiet for me, so I wandered over to Red Frog Beach around 10:45. There were many more (like 20 or 30) people on the beach there. I wandered back to the pool around 11:30 and swam in the pool for about 30 minutes. A handful of people were sitting near the pool by then. I headed back to Bocas at noon.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, many changes needed to be made to our trip—date of arrival, etc.The level of communication has been outstanding. Between emails and phone calls, I always felt at ease knowing things were being attended to. The staff is friendly and on top of things!

We stayed for 3 nights at the resort. We had a beautiful villa with kitchen and washer/dryer and our own splash pool. The beach was nice and the food at the restaurants were very good. Sometimes it was slow getting a golf cart or truck for transportation to other areas of the resort. It is very hilly and spread out so you don't want to walk from some of the outer villas. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

Thank you for visiting Linda and glad you enjoyed the restaurants. Last week we had nature on display with a lot of sloths and monkeys out and about.
