Fantastic hotel in front of a wild beach, very nice cuisine and a friendly and professional staff. Spécial mention for Nipuna, for his kindness. He gave us good tips for the next days of our trip. Bohoma istouti !
We had a lovely stay here Here is what we liked about this hotel : The amazing beach in front The great and clean swimming pool The breakfast and overall restaurant quality The commun areas which are rally relaxing Restaurant staff and pool gentlemen are lovely and professional. The beautiful and peaceful garden (no music ! Perfect!!) Here is some suggestions to improve : Some rooms need a little renovations. Our room felt a bit tired, stains on the wall, on the lampshade, old curtains, old carpets in the room, broken closet, big room but small bed, only one coffee dose and one water for two... rooms are quite basic but the rest of the hotel is great!!!
Such a great holidays ! Thank you very much for your services and your kindness. You deserve this review hoping that it helps Keep going ! I recommend 100 % Sri Lanka is a wonderful country with nice and smile people Merci beaucoup :) Marion, Roxane and Ilham
Very beautiful place. Natural atmosphere and silence. Clean rooms, friendly staff, helpful manager Gaja. Delicious food (Rasai). If you are looking for “bounty” place - this is it. My best recommendations! Five 5 Stars for me. I’ll be back for sure!
Loved the hotel; the atmosphere, the structure and the fact that they offer rooms with everything you need in an environmental friendly accommodation. Absolutely loved the Sri Lankan curry’s, definitely the best dish in the menu. Make sure you negotiate with the tuktuk driver before leaving.
This hotel is absolutely lovely and at an excellent price. It is down a little quiet road off the beaten track but you'll be glad to have made the journey. The manager was great - even arranged for us to have a packed breakfast as we were leaving early. Food was great, loved the fish. The hotel goes straight out onto the most beautiful beach that has loads of little cute hermit crabs. Wish we had stayed longer
Both me & my wife booked this place for 2 nights after seeing many reviews online. Google maps shows 2 roads to reach the hotel. The first one is apparently the correct one and a good Tar road. We ended up taking the 2nd road which was a total nightmare as it was filled with pot holes and mud and as a result ended up knocking the bottom of my car many times. Apparently no one uses that road according to the hotel. Anyhow, The hotel had Covid-19 guidelines in place and we were given a welcome drink on arrival. For our luck we were the only 2 guests for the 3 days. They have a nice clean swimming pool outside before the beach. The sea is too rough with sea currents to swim but you can walk by the sea and there are lots of beautiful sea shells that you can collect. If you want you can go a few inches into the sea and get yourself wet without trying to swim. The rooms were clean and spacious. The A/C was working and so was the hot water in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. The balcony has a view of the swimming pool and beach. Regarding the food, we stayed on Full board basis and they have an a la carte menu where you can pick and order food from. The serving portions are generous and very filling. Overall the food was very tasty across all 3 meals and we really enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. If you are bored in your room, you can take a stroll on the road where one side there is a marsh area and you get to see dragonflies, butterflies, lizards and birds. The view from the rooftop of the hotel is truly amazing. On one side you see a massive forest and on the opposite side the sea. It's very beautiful early morning and in the night. Overall, we had an awesome stay and enjoyed every bit of it.…
We spent one night there, first impression was quite bad. we were waiting to meet someone from the hotel in the lobby for nearly 10 min. but we enjoyed our stay at Serein Beach with delicious food and friendly staff. we love the location as it was very quiet and from the roof top you will see entire mangrove forest. Unfortunately we were not able to have our Kayak ride as those were restricted by post Covid guidelines. other than our kayaking thing , we enjoyed the stay there.
There were 2 families in our group and we booked a one night stay at the hotel. We were so impressed with the hotel that we extended our stay into 2 nights. First and foremost, the hotel was located in a bewildering location. There was a lagoon behind the hotel and the front was located in front of the beach and I was stunned by the beauty and the peace the hotel offers. The rooms were spacious and clean. They were built using eco-friendly materials and the soft mud bricks kept the room cold and breezy, add the amazing wind from the beach and you've got the perfect mix for a jaunty vibe. The washrooms were clean and well-kept. We stayed at the hotel on a full-board basis and the breakfast, lunch & dinner were Delicious. We were very impressed with the food and was excited for every meal at the hotel. The Manager, Nipuna, and Ashen were extremely friendly and helped us in every way possible, carrying a smile with them always. They made our stay memorable and beautiful. The hotel offered great value for the money. And you won't go wrong even if you booked the hotel on a full-board basis, because the food was top-notch. The swimming pool was gorgeous. It had the perfect depth so that both kids and adults can enjoy the pool. It was clean and neat at all times. The Kayak ride the hotel provided us with was unforgettable. I've personally never been on a kayak before and this experience was awesome for a first-ride. Nature lovers will love this place and wish that they'd stayed longer. The beach, the service, the food, the Spectacular sunset at the rooftop, the kayak ride, everything was first-class. It's only been a few hours since I left the hotel and I already miss the place ❤️.…
We had a nice room with a stunning view over the swimming pool and sea view . The moment we arrived we where greeted by a almost 2 m water lizard walking over the road a good start of the day . The hotel is straight on the beach sourounded with mangrove Forrest full with squirrels playing around the hotel our in your room if you leave the doors open . The staff is great and very helpful in everything you need our want to organise I went fishing with a local fishing man in a authentic fishing boat . The food is really great and not to expensive
