We had a nice little cabana close to the lovely beach. Breakfast was alright - a plate of fruit and then eggs / toast and - few different jams. Could have done with a fridge in the room to keep water cool and also air con.

Ayubowan. Alice - thanks for your comment, For clarification: Either you offer (+ you accept) a Non A/C room or an A/C room - OK? Air con in an open Non A/C cabana doesn't make any sense - don't you think so too? 3 star resort PalmParadiseCabanas+ Villas (PPC) offer 22 Non A/C cabanas + 10 A/C rooms in 4 Villas + in one Country-House - you had the choice. And there in the A/C villa-rooms you also would have found fridges - certainly for a higher rate. Nevertheless we hope to see you again in our little 'paradise' - with or without fridge + air con --- 2 owners of PPC. .

This is a very special place. Very good staff, delicious food, short walk to a well kept beach, what more can you ask for! We stayed in one of the villas which are well appointed and comfortable. I am looking forward to returning at some point.

Ayubowan, Ellen - thanks for your positive comment - especially when we have read your past quite critical comments. Only one question is left: why did we get just 4 points out of 5 - when you was that satisfied in our "special" place? We hope to see you again a.s.a.p. --- 2 owners of PalmParadiseCabanas+Villas

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights here. Would have stayed longer but they were fully booked. Staff were so lovely when they found out it was my husbands birthday they surprised us with a cake and sang happy birthday when we were by the pool. Only problem was sand flies or fleas

Ayubowan, Leanda - thanks for your positive comment. About your (our not) only problem: Sand flies in the sand of the beach were "introduced" by the now 6 ! unauthorized shacks (kitchen waste, no hygienic standards as no toilets, etc.). Before - in the last century - this tiny half moon beach was pristine clean without flies!. We hope to see you again in our little 'paradise' --- 2 owners of PalmParadiseCabanas

We stayed two nights in a cabana near the beach. There is only a fence between the cabin and the public beach. Very easy to reach. Very pleasent. Not busy but enough to have some parasols and lounge beds and a few small restaurants for tea and beer. Cabins contain everthing

Ayubowan, topojack - thanks for your all in all positive comment. About your complaints: A water cooker in a wooden cabana is a very high risky thing - don't you think you too? An open Non A/C Cabana with aircon doesn't make any sense - don't you think you too? You are very welcomed when you will return --- 2 owners of PalmParadiseCabanas

We stayed for 9 nights at the Palm Paradise Villas at Tangalle in January 2019. Although they are in the same grounds as Palm Paradise Cabanas and do share facilities they are to some extent separate entities. Reading reviews do take care to note where the reviewer stayed. The

It's off the main road a little ways, so you can get a rum-tuk or taxi anywhere. They are usually parked right by the gate. The restaurant at the hotel is OK but I wouldn't say top quality. The pool restaurant was ok for lunch but not a big selection. We also ate at the beachside restaurant, which doesn't belong to the hotel. Was closed in the evening, though. The location of the cabanas in the coconut grove was what drew us to the hotel. It was indeed lovely. Rustic little places but very cute. The German owners are in need of some hospitality training, we thought, but local staff were very friendly.

Hi. We just hired a motorbike from palm paradise and drove around. But if you are not used to bikes, you could always ask them to arrange for a Tuk Tuk (three wheeler) with a driver. Try and confirm the rates beforehand.
