We stayed here for three nights in December 2013, a great base for visiting the Cultural Triangle. Our room was pleasant, the staff were sometimes a bit stand-offish but mainly friendly, we particularly enjoyed breakfast with a view of Sigirya Rock. Good value for money...More
It's such a wild kind of experience. The hotel has a lot of animals in its environment...Don't worry they won't harm you. The rooms are really clean and so comfortable. The restaurant offered wonderful food and you can get free fast wifi in the lobby....More

Our driver stayed there so, yes. The best thing to do is agree a price before-hand. Our arrangement was 10 USD per night IF there was no driver accommodation readily available - apparently it's a shared area. This actually worked out well as the camps in Yala and Wilpatu wanted 30 USD if we had one with us as there was no shared area. On those occasions, he found something for himself elsewhere and met us at the pick-up point the next day.
