I have stayed in this hotel twice for now and feel this hotel as a awesome place to stay around Sigiriya Rock. It's just few minutes away from Sigiriya Lion rock. Last time I stayed here for two days. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. If it's not rainy everything will be fine. At restaurant staff is friendly, beverages little... More

Sigiriya Village is embedded in jungle-like environment: Many apes, some goannas wandering amongst the houses attract visitor’s attention. I do not agree to some of my previous commentators who complain mouldy rooms. During our visit we experienced convenient cabins and imaginative housekeepers who did their best to offer comfort. It is right to mention the many Chinese groups that overrun... More

We travelled to this hotel in 2013 but haven't been able to write a review due to unforeseen circumstances. When we were checking into the hotel, on arrival we were told by the duty manager at the reception, that we had been upgraded to a Superior room because we were on our honeymoon. This was not the case. In addition... More

Visited here with a group of more than 150 strong on a trip to Sigiriya. The chalet type room layout made the stay very nice. The chalets are well equipped and nice and spacious. Could do with better amenities though. Food is good and the dining room can accommodate massive crowds. Staff is nice. Quite close to Sigiriya itself. A... More

Stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Rooms are basic but clean and spacious. The lobby/bar is open to the sides which is pleasant in the evenings but leaves you vulnerable to the local mosquito, of which there are loads! Unfortunately it was the next day before we realised how badly we had been attacked! The buffet breakfast and dinner has... More

We stayed one night in a really quiet Bungalow. The room was well clean and the bathroom facilities were perfect. The rock is at 10 min by tuktuk, really convenient. Staff at the reception were nice although some of them do not understand English. We took the buffet, a bit to many spicy curries for the range of food available.

Fantastic location – with the Sigiriya Rock as a backdrop – stunning view of the Lion Rock from the swimming pool. Individual cottages - rooms have TV, telephone, nice bathrooms and a mini bar - cosy and comfortable. Peaceful and serene surroundings amidst gardens, ponds, tall trees, pools – great ambience to just relax and chill. The food is wholesome.... More

A serene place to stay steeped in greenery and nature. A powerful reset to the harried mind. A cool walk to the Sigiriya Rock. An excellent view from the swimming pool and dining area of it. Friendly staff.

Very nice friendly atmosphere, clean. Very kind and professional staff. Food is very delicious and has good selection. You should try aurvedic massage as well. Nice place to stay and relax!!! We did not use a seeming pool, for me it's a bit small for amount of people staying in the hotel. But the garden is beautiful and so many... More
