We stayed whilst traveling around Sri Lanka and loved its location, surrounded by beautiful and well kept gardens, pleanty of birds and monkeys. The cottages were spacious and clean and the buffet for breakfast and dinner was good.

Pros: clean and spacious room. Lots of nice little touches like a welcome drink and sweets. Good onsite spa and the pool is really refreshing. Plenty of wildlife around including monkeys to see at the hotel.

Our driver stayed there so, yes. The best thing to do is agree a price before-hand. Our arrangement was 10 USD per night IF there was no driver accommodation readily available - apparently it's a shared area. This actually... More
Our driver stayed there so, yes. The best thing to do is agree a price before-hand. Our arrangement was 10 USD per night IF there was no driver accommodation readily available - apparently it's a shared area. This actually worked out well as the camps in Yala and Wilpatu wanted 30 USD if we had one with us as there was no shared area. On those occasions, he found something for himself elsewhere and met us at the pick-up point the next day.
